They didn’t whine. They had legitimate complaints because the moderators were going after them probably to help their pals over in the DNC.

Some liberals were saying the republican candidates didn’t get a fair shake.

Have you seen an interview on Fox News with a democrat?

They cut them off, when the democrat is about to say something important, Fox News has to go to commercials. Trust me both sides have it.

Republicans whined that day, what do you think it’s going to happen if a republican gets elected and he goes broad for a summit, the the press says, pres. You said this this this. Is he going to say, oh the international press. No, they have to grow up. Same as democrats

Yes they will.
Since he is refusing to one last debate literally days before the caucus, do you think that those who still are undecided will be willing to wait in line and vote for him?

Sure, his hard core, and firmly in his corner supporters will, but he still needs to get those who are on the fence.

Im of the view, he will regret this decision to not show up. Iowa is serious about it’s caucus, and the candidates need to be serious about Iowa voters.

I agree. This will be the least watched debate in this GOP go round. BTW the pretext behind Trump skipping the debate was Trump wanted a percentage of Fox Profits to go towards the same charity. Fox would not do this.

I bet Fox will blink.
Then you don’t have a clue about Ailes’ steel backbone or his severe loyalty to his employees.

Not a clue.

Fox won’t blink.

Thats great :roll eyes:

Kelley isn’t running for president. Trump is.
I’ve heard enough of Kelley. This all reflects badly on her going for a second round with her sharp words. One time was enough…move on Kelley.
Oh it’s not about Kelley anymore…

This is now Trump vs Ailes.

Roger Ailes.

Ailes has Kelley’s back. He ALWAYS back his employees. ALWAYS.
Read his bio and understand why LOYALTY is of a pre-emiminet must for all those that work for him. He being the biggest example of why it is so important.

This isn’t new. It’s very clear to me that the media wants to carry the water for the DNC. There were problems with the media in 08 and 12 over this, and I think good-natured folks both liberal and conservative know those moderators had it out for the GOP but this time around they got shellacked by the amazing Ted Cruz.

The debate also isn’t comparable to FOX NEWS, and now these comments are just reaching and grasping at straws to defend American liberalism at any cost. That will not work with me.

Yes, I do watch FOX as I cannot stand the mainstream Western media, and they limit everyone’s time. It seems to me like the Democrats say what they want to say for the most part, but most FOX talking heads aren’t going to accept propaganda from anyone.

The only silver lining in the prior comment is someone once pointed out “when Reagan ran for president, he did not mention the media at all. He knew they weren’t going to give him a fair (ie he’ll start WWIII and all that) and he just out-flanked them and his opponents”. That’s what republicans have had to do for decades.

So no, they cannot whine about, but that is not what they are doing and that is why the RNC has pulled the plug on NBC.

Fine, but are they going to wait 2 hours in line to vote for him?
If they wait several hours to see a speech, yes they will. His speeches are packed. You cannot say that about any other candidate.

Trump will be the next President, or we will not have a country in four years.

No offense, but I think Ted Cruz would do just fine too.

Anyhow, the establishment fix is in. Fox is part of that establishment.
The world sure has changed…seems like just yesterday there was the “lame-stream” media and FOX, and now FOX is suddently “establishment”? 😃

For those of us who would like to know exactly how Trump will preserve our country for the next four years, where shall we tune in for the details?

I would love to believe we have a Republican candidate that will save this country. But I want details, not sound bytes. And I want to know where and when I am going to hear all about it.

Are you calling Trump the equivalent of OBL?

I better be quiet now or they will ban me. God bless.
No, re-read my post.
It’s about “everyone is talking about” comment and that dynamic

Yea, “everyone is talking about”…Trump these days
What does that mean? What does that prove?
After 9-11, “everyone was talking about …” OBL

What did that mean? What did that prove?

Well hello and welcome!!!

You are new to the boards by your profile, so you know about banning already?

Have you been banned before on this website? Just curious.

It is wise to go and read the forum rules 🙂

Do you want a 100 bullet points step-by-step plan? Or do you want a gist of what he wants to do? What he wants to do is very clear on issues of trade deals, foreign relations, immigration, health care. You can look at his website donaldjtrump.com. If you keep up with the debates or any of his interviews he is more clear no his plan than anybody else.

I don’t consider them to be, because the network doesn’t carry anyone’s water. I don’t get what the gripe is, really. FOX has been fair to all of the candidates who have gone on TV from what I have seen.

Trump has been on the Factor many times.

Care to expound on what you mean?

Yes we are heading into a general election, but we also know it’s not JUST president we are voting for.

We have a system of 3 branches of government for a reason. A system of checks and balances.

You make it sound as if **ALL POWER ** rests in the executive branch.

Simply not true. We all (at least we Americans) know this, or should know this if we have had a decent education.

So I don’t understand your meaning of we won’t have a country?

Guests on the Megyn Kelly show were just a bit ago making these same arguments. This won’t affect his hardcore supporters. But as you said Iowans take their caucus seriously and those undecided Iowa Republicans might not take too well to Trump refusing to debate as they’re making up their minds days before the caucus. In 1980 Reagan refused to debate in Iowa and his support plummeted in the caucus. To run away from FOX because he fears Kelly or for whatever reason does not show strength as I know his hardcore constituency seems to think. But rather it shows weakness on the part of Trump. No reason why he can’t “man up” and debate and still have his own event for wounded warriors and veterans at another time. But to leave the stage to Cruz and Rubio and allowing them to attack him and not being there to respond, could backfire. But we’ll know next wk. Depends on if he has enough hardcore support who will turn out for him despite this.

It makes Trump a good candidate. You are talking about him. Everyone in America is talking about Donald Trump.
The hell it does. No sincere Catholic can justify a vote for Trump. He is no different than Clinton or Sanders. None.

Actually the world has not changed. Fox news and the GOP establishment sold the country a bill of goods that was bankrupt. We were promised if we gave the GOP majorities in both houses they would act like an opposition party. In actuality the GOP has given Obama everything he’s asked for. The last budget deal which is bankrupting the country and eliminating domestic jobs and funding abortion on demand was the last straw.

We were fooled. We won’t be fooled again. Either that or Revolution and Civil War is in our very near future.
