I read that article and had some doubt. Do you know some refutation to that?
These total 120,000 copies with a Print Run of 130,000 copies daily. Nigeria has an estimate 185 million inhabitants. Is this a reputable site?
the baby was named “Abdul Wahab Iyanda Ademilola Irawo”.
The midwife, Victoria Moses, in her 60s, said she had been in the business of helping mothers deliver babies for long and had seen where babies come into the world holding ropes
Some Islamic scholars said that the wrapping was to ensure that the mother’s blood did not touch the mini Quran.”
https://www.vanguardngr.com/about/Akano said when he was informed of the Quran, he conducted a research and found out that, in the world, such Quran is to be five. Not unheard of. Pregnancy is 10 months or 40 weeks. In modern countries, in modern times, we do not let mothers go beyond 43 weeks (42 in some places) but it isn’t unheard of in less developed countries for pregnancy to stretch into the 43-45 week range.lukpet:![]()

I thought the same thing as I was reading this. My heart goes out to this mother and child, and all unwed mothers and their children for that matter.I’m Muslim and I believe miracles happen and everything, but somehow I think this has more to do with the fact that a “miraculous” child and a conversion is a good way to distract people from the out-of-wedlock part while getting some material resources to help with the abandoned-by-boyfriend part.
