Well this is interesting.
They claim the book is getting bigger as the child grows.
Is this a reputable site? Just asking. Will be following the thread.

Is this a reputable site?
These total 120,000 copies with a Print Run of 130,000 copies daily. Nigeria has an estimate 185 million inhabitants.
the baby was named “Abdul Wahab Iyanda Ademilola Irawo”.
The midwife, Victoria Moses, in her 60s, said she had been in the business of helping mothers deliver babies for long and had seen where babies come into the world holding ropes
Some Islamic scholars said that the wrapping was to ensure that the mother’s blood did not touch the mini Quran.”
Akano said when he was informed of the Quran, he conducted a research and found out that, in the world, such Quran is to be five. But there are two already in existence, adding, “And where the volume of the first one ended was where the second one started from, they come in volumes. But what I cannot say is how the thing (Quran) got into the hand of the baby.”

Slight of hand is how.

Babies have very strong grips and it takes NOTHING to trigger a flailing newborn hand to grasp something. One of my kids ripped my glasses off my face seconds after she was born when she was placed on my chest.

Yes, I think it is fabricated. The main thing which made me doubting is the reaction of the eyewitnesses and the woman gave birth in a church and was a Christian.

And then there’s her statement “When the pregnancy got to its eleventh month . . .”

Not unheard of. Pregnancy is 10 months or 40 weeks. In modern countries, in modern times, we do not let mothers go beyond 43 weeks (42 in some places) but it isn’t unheard of in less developed countries for pregnancy to stretch into the 43-45 week range.

My good friend had all her children between 42 and 43.5 weeks. And that was ovulation/pg test proven.

Now, one could argue that they did not accuratly record when they first got pregnant which accounts for the “longer” pregnancies.

I’m Muslim and I believe miracles happen and everything, but somehow I think this has more to do with the fact that a “miraculous” child and a conversion is a good way to distract people from the out-of-wedlock part while getting some material resources to help with the abandoned-by-boyfriend part.

I was on an Islamic site that straight up just said, 90% of alleged Islamic miracles are hoaxes. I think I agree with a high amount being hoaxes.

I thought the same thing as I was reading this. My heart goes out to this mother and child, and all unwed mothers and their children for that matter.

He is a miracle, regardless of what he was or wasn’t holding when he was born.

The devil will always place doubt in front of you. Its his way of steering you away from Christ.

What exactly are you refering to you? There is a differance between a hoax (baby born with Quran in hand), and the D****.

Someone creating a hoax for their own gain and try and deceive others is the work of the devil. That’s what I’m referring to. You wouldn’t happen to be KathleenGee?
