OK I can apecett when I’m wrong. Most non-christians believe that the women riding the dragon is the Catholic Church, yet there are still two groups of christains that could be this woman, one is an evangelical group, if you don’t think so watch “Jesus Camp” another group that Doug Batchelor does not know about are the “pagan christians” AKA “christian witches”. Also depanding it could also be the seventhday adivist. Yet, why worry? Here’s what all of us should do, Catholic and non Chatholic, we should study the BIBLE, for those whom do not have a Catholic Bible, even though you do not hold the same ideas of Catholics, there are certain books in the Catholic bible that I do like.

As I was saying we all should study the Word of GOD. If there is anything that any of us do not understand, pray about it and ask some one whom you trust. This part is important, we should not hate, nor judge any one who thinks differant, insteed let’s go back to THE WORD, some times we may fine that it’s our own self who is wrong. Doug Batchelor is preaching that which he thinks is right. Let’s e-mail him with scripture that shows he is wrong, with love in our hearts.

There are too many divedions of Christians out there, even non-denominatanel should be concerted a denomination. Who is Fully right, or are all party right, That’s what I want to know. That’s why I don’t have a denomination. I still go to a church, but I there are parts I don’t agree with and can back up with the bible.

First of all, the Catholic Church is NOT a denomination. It is the original, historical Church since the time of the apostles. That can be proven through historical study. Just because it reflects the eras in which She finds Herself does not make Her any less authentic or less original. Perhaps if you immerse yourself this Lenten time in reading about the lives of the saints and how their Faith sanctified them and their works you would get a better idea as to what you are seeking.

Actually that gives you the freedom to be condemned to hell for not following Jesus’ commandments in John 6 and other places in the NT. The devil wants you to believe you can be your own judge. We know that God will judge us all. Think about your “Pride” it could be your personal downfall.

The link that Peary provided to you is good. Also there are good articles right here on this site. Go to Catholic Answers home page and check out the Encyclopedia, the Library, do some searches on here for your questions. It is not exhaustive by any means, but there are good historic documents which show the Truth as it has been taught in The Church since the time of Jesus.

And as for Truth…what do the scriptures say regarding where you will find truth?

John 14:6Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. 7If you really knew me, you would know my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him."

Jesus is the complete fulfillment of the Law and the Prophets…the scriptures. Jesus is The Truth. Read the Gospels and what Jesus says and how He lived and how He taught us to live and you will know The Truth.

John 14:26But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you. 27Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.

Jesus promises the disciples that the Father will send the Holy Spirit to teach them all things!

Matthew 16:17Jesus replied, "Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, for this was not revealed to you by man, but by my Father in heaven. 18And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it. 19I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven."

John 20: 21Again Jesus said, “Peace be with you! As the Father has sent me, I am sending you.” 22And with that he breathed on them and said, "Receive the Holy Spirit. 23If you forgive anyone his sins, they are forgiven; if you do not forgive them, they are not forgiven."

Here we see Jesus establishing HIs Church, which He promises that not even the gates of Hell will overcome it…ever. In doing this He gives Peter the keys to the kingdom of heaven, and the athority that whatever he binds or looses on earth will be bound or loosed in Heaven…WOW…imgaine God not only giving man that power, but trusting man with that power.

And how can he give that power to man and trust man with that power? Because Jesus breathed on the disciples and gave them the Holy Spirit and the authority to forgive or not to forgive anyone’s sins.

But does this authority end when Jesus’ disciples die? No, not at all, it continues in The Chruch, under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, in those whom the disciples ordained to succeed them, and so on as long as the Church remains in this world until Jesus returns in glory!! We have nothing to fear, even amid the scandels and problems that arise in the Church as the devil attempts to destory it along with the souls of mankind.

But the good news is that the devil will not prevail against The Church…not ever!!

So we come to understand truth through the life and teachings of Jesus Christ, The Church under the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

I don’t know where you are, but find a Catholic Church nearby, or write to the nearest Bishop and get one started.

But until then, search and study the teachings of The Catholic Church and you will be well grounded in The Truth!!
