Doug Batchelor: His Catholic Church Attacks

Any website/person/book that proclaims the evils of the Catholic Church but ignores the Orthodox teachings that are the same can be dismissed on the spot.

For example, some bogus sites love to talk about how false the Catholic claims are that she is the original Church, yet they ignore the Orthodox claim of the same.

Now, why is that? Because these people are so historically illiterate that they miss half of the early Church’s existance.

Learning about the Orthodox Church was the main reason I became Catholic. Like Cardinal Newman said to become deeply immersed in church history is to cease to remain Protestant.

go under free stuff, then bible studies, and bible studies again, and watch some of his stuff. The antichrist one is the that this thread has been talking about. Then after you watch it, search the bible, look at history. Then tell me if Doug Batchelor is wrong. You’ll be surprised at what you fined.
By the look his other videos as well, you’ll fined that there is false doctrine in every church. That is why I believe it’s better not to apart of any denomination, That gives me the freedom to fined that which is true, and reject that which is false.

By saying that the Catholic Church has errors in doctrine you are truly saying that the Gates of hell did prevail over it. …WHO should I believe you or Jesus Christ? I tell you I believe in Jesus Christ. Amen

Funny, I never heard Jesus say to Peter: On this Rock I will build my Bible.

To be correct you won’t have the BIBLE if the Catholic Church did not compile it! So at least you should be thankfull to the Catholic Church. You are biting the hand/Catholic Church that feeds you the word.

hi ufam, ive been holding my thoughts in here. this peter thing, that the catholic church hangs onto, its not quite correct. peter said to jesus that he( jesus) was Lord. on That rock he builds his church, that he is Lord. not on that whimpering peter.

It was also one more video I came across after I wrote what I did, It was about the gifts of The Spirit. What he said, and what I know and studied, others feel the same way, he was wrong about certain parts.

While the material from Apologetics Press and Vintage looked good, I’d be very leery of accepting virtually anything you find at CARM. I’ve meet too many people there who are very vicious in their attacks and when you catch them lying or respond to their attacks, you get banned–with no recourse. The mods are anonymous–could be some tof the posters from what we see.

I dont know Bible Christian, maybe I should inform you something about these perculiar Catholics, we dont subscribe to fear preaching very well, so here’s the insight, Catholics dont fear God, our greatest fear is loosing God.

You may have gotten alot of our uninformed brothers and sisters out of the Catholic pews with this fear preaching stuff, but it aint working here.

As far as the mark that we Catholics recieved is the one Ezekiel speaks about is the “tau” which looks like a cross or “tee” we recieve at our baptism and at our confirmation. With this mark on our foreheads not even an angel can harm the children of God. Revelations 9:4
They were told not to harm the grass of the earth or any plant or any tree,** but only those people who did not have the seal of God on their foreheads. **
Now I am scared for you if you dont have the seal of God on your forehead which you receive at the sacraments of intitiation into the kingdom of God.

As far as the Sabbath day being the sign to save you, I think the Sabbath is to big to put on your forehead?
Besides in the Sabbath day God rested, but on Sunday he arose in Glory. This is the only day in creation that does not have an evening attached to it, praise be the lord Jesus Christ.

There was a time when they didn’t want anyone to read the Bible. Your own website encourages your traditions over Scripture (the last time I read it several months ago, anyway).

And, neither the poster, or anyone else, ever acknowledged that the claim was false.
