Dragons are part of all ancient cultures, on pottery, on clothing, even in recent American Indian legends. The word dinosaur was invented in the 1840s and was used in the theory of evolution which claims it took millions of years for evolution of all life on earth. However, there has never been evidence of a single transition species (missing link). The Bible is not a modern science manual, but it is the word of the Creator of the universe, and I’ll take his Word over man’s theories any day.

It amazes me that the evidence is there to be found (actually a legal phrase), but when presented with evidence (like that below) in support of the Bible, people think they can merely shriek nah-ah, disregard the evidence and demand even more evidence. It IS there to be found.

  1. Every Pope since Pius XII has been open to modern science including biological evolution.
  2. There are countless examples of transitional species… do a little reading from scientific sources, rather than Protestant inspired pseudo-science. In fact, we have OBSERVED the emergence of new species in our lifetime… evolution is a fact. 100%. Its happening around us every second of every day… it is as real, as certain as gravity.
 
No, there are no transition species.

We do see natural selection wherein animals that succeed pass on their little differences, but their inherent DNA does not change.
 
God doesn’t mention Dinosaurs in the Bible, however, God doesn’t mention Australia either.
 
No, but the Bible does mention dragons several times.

“Thou hast broken the heads of the dragon: thou hast given him to be meat for the people of the Ethiopians.”

“Thou shalt walk upon the asp and the basilisk: and thou shalt trample under foot the lion and the dragon.”

The dragon , serpent, prince of this world is satan. There are a few representative names for evil.

This in no way means Dinosaurs have not existed. And infact we have entire skeletons of Dinosaurs.

Are you looking for the missing link in Dinosaurs? You won’t find much traction with that argument as we did not, in any book n the theory of evolution, evolve from dinosaurs or other mega fauna.
 
In some places in the Bible it is a reference to satan, but in other places it is referring to animals. They may have been created for us to have a physical representation of a giant, deadly, scary, etc., monster so we can better understand.

There are no transition species period. (Lucy was manufactured).
 
Respectfully, where did you earn your doctorate in biology and/or Paleology?

I don’t claim any such credentials, but I’m not challenging the status quo of globally accepted science.
 
Evolution is just a theory, one that has more evidence against it than for it (no transition species). It is widespread, but it is NOT even the only theory.
 
Lucy wasn’t manufactured. There are hundreds and hundreds of transitional specimens. Not that the term transitional means much… I’m transitional between my father and my son.
 
There are none. Name one. You can’t. Lucy was put together with human and chimp bones to manufacture a missing link. It is common knowledge.

Evolution says that species changed into other species, but there is no evidence of that. In fact, a species’ DNA is very stubborn.
 
Evolution needs millions of years for species to randomly evolve into other species, hence the “dinosaur age.”
 
im just trying to figure out where this thread is going, and i could care less if bigfoot , a rabbit, or a tree was my ancestor I could careless about evolution or darwin, it is all interesting but to a degree and only interesting when i am absolutely bored and want something to ponder over.

Evolution has zero impact on what i believe or dont, and for all I know God could have easily set into motion evolution so that something evolves from something else. In the end it just doesnt matter.
 
Wow. Wikipedia articles can be made by anyone.

There are no missing links, just fantasy. Lucy was “debunked” long ago. No one can name a transition species, because they have never existed. Mate a horse and a mule, and you get a donkey that is sterile. Inherent DNA is God’s plan for each creature.
 
Wikipedia isn’t 100% accurate, but it tends to be pretty decent because it can be edited by anyone… in that subject matter experts are always waiting in the wings ready to make corrections.

What sources would you accept? Conventional encyclopedias? Peer reviewed journals?
 
Science is supposed to be objective, looking at the real evidence, not used deceitfully as an atheistic religion.

The evidence points to separate species, each after its own kind, with incredible design (i.e., creator) as opposed to random. Darwin sought to ridicule and discredit the Bible with his “science.”
