I also thought of our Lord in the Temple… it’s sad to see people not supporting their local bishop, but then when these interior motives are put into effect, it’s sad to see how they are not in accordance with Rome and the Holy See. There is SO much division within the Church and it’s leaders, it’s sad.
Where I live, there are rogue priests that ARE allowed to change the liturgy, that make the mass “FUN” for everyone and do not follow liturgical processes. I sent a letter to the local bishop, which parishes in particular are being mislead by rogue priests. I don’t know if this is right to do, but I couldn’t take it anymore. When a priest states that it’s the Catholic Church’s fault there is division and why we have protestants today, and continues on to say that we should allow the sacraments to protestants and allow them to receive communion, it makes a man want to throw him out of Church… as Christ did with the market people in the Temple, turning tables and raising His voice.
I wrote a letter to the bishop concerning this and I hope there will be repercussions to this behavior. I thought the Catholic Church was supposed to have one teaching, one way of doing things, one Holy Way, but I guess not. I’m FAR from being a holy person, and I know that men of the cloth get tempted so much more than the lay people by the devil. We must pray for these men! Pray for PRIESTS and Bishops!!
Was I wrong in doing this? Is it wrong of me to want replacements, more traditional priests who follow what the Holy See asks of us?! Is this something that I need to forget and pray about?
Please, if anyone can answer me, it would be AWESOME! Thanks.
