Ask yourself how you would feel if people were looking up nude pictures of your daughter out of curiosity. Well, that’s God’s daughter.

I would hope if I had a daughter that I would have brought her up with Christian Catholic principals and she would not be at a private party but in public going topless, the lady in question should know by now her brother in law Prince Harry was caught in the same way at a private party with his trousers down and all showing, reporters get hughe sums of money for sale of these things, so they invade one’s privacy, the Royals know this, we know this, the whole world knows this, yet the Royals in spite of being caught on numerous occassions still dont act in a respectfull manner at private parties, if you were at a private party with your friends would you let it “All Hang Out” spare me, the lady got what she deserved, she did it in public and it was made public, if she respected herself she would not have gone topless- a hussy.

If I had a daughter, I would raise her with proper Christian Catholic principles and I would certainly instruct her to be careful, but I would first instruct her not to be so judgemental about others’ behaviour and not to call them unflattering names, per the Golden Rule.

she wasn’t at a party. She was at a friend’s house (who may not have even been home, but only loaned them the place) sunbathing with her husband. A little naive, perhaps, but hardly in the same realm as what Harry did.

Sorry it’s a sin, you did not have her or Prince William’s permission to see her naked. It doesn’t matter if you didn’t have lust in your heart, you stole something that belonged only to her and her husband.

i haven’t seen these pictures yet. But i believe that except in the privacy of your room or enclosed space, one shouldn’t expose oneself in the open be it in your backyard or other wise. Without meaning to sound pruddish,if we are trying to emulate the life of christ and Mary our Mother, i think modesty is the word here.

It was an essentially private place…the paparazzo needed a tremendous photo-lens to take the pictures (from about 800m away). There was no chance of someone viewing it with the naked eye.

It’s an invasion of privacy that no one (royal or otherwise) should be subjected to. I see the French courts have now ruled publication of the photo illegal.

Mind you, Harry probably deserved what he got.

There was an interesting pair of articles in Columbia a while ago. That is the magazine published by and for the Knights of Columbus. The first article explained the virtues of fine art, and showed examples from the Vatican and such, which includes bodies wearing not so many clothes. And the second article was about the evils of pornography, and how it was designed to appeal to man’s basest desires. I was certainly struck by the difference.

So is a sneaky paparazzi photo of a topless married woman art?

I just wanted to clarify.

Viewing nude pictures of someone who did NOT consent to them being taken = wrong.
Viewing nude pictures of someone who consented = not necessarily wrong.
Lusting while looking at nude pictures = wrong.
