E! News is canceled after 29 years on air

I went to HS and shared an apartment after graduation for awhile with someone who is married to a reporter at E entertainment. Haven’t talked with him in 30 plus years though. I can imagine the virus and resulting economic shut downs has caused the fashion industry to be turned upside down.
 
🤷‍♀️ I don’t know. I’m not sure I’ve ever watched that either.
 
Does Entertainment Tonight even still exist?

Back in the Reagan Administration, we didn’t have TMZ and Yahoo portal page and Twitter to tell us way too much about way too many celebs including those we’d barely ever heard of. So everybody watched “Entertainment Tonight” and read People Magazine. No need for those now. The last thing I bothered to read in People magazine was an Internet feature story on a drug-smuggling cat that they ganked from Daily Beast.

Were People magazine and Entertainment Tonight better in the '80s than they are now?
 
Yes! - you can catch it on CBS (?) at 7:30 eastern time tonight. Also they have a YouTube channel you can subscribe to. But I don’t know if the format is still the same as it was in during the Reagan years. Pretty sure John Tesh has moved on to other things.
