I have been using eSword for a year or so with a weekly men’s bible study I attend. I enjoy the study note and bookmarking features as each week we read the upcoming Scripture readings for Mass.
Prior to eSword, I used a print copy of the Catholic Study Bible NAB version. The other fellows in the group still use that and I’ve downloaded that version for eSword.
Two items that I dearly miss from the print version are 1) the Reader’s Guide; 2) the voluminous footnotes. Does anyone know if wither of these items are available as add-on modules?
The RG may very well be copyrighted, but would the footnotes be as well? There are often tremendous insights and cross references in the footnotes. If I can’t get them for eSword, my study mates will at least still have them to refer to, but I was hoping to get them back myself also.
Sorry if this was ever asked elsewhere. I can’t refine my search skills well enough to track anything down.
