Why would the Creed use a word not used by any Gospel writer or any Apostle, to formulate a doctrine?

:eek::eek:
(injecting man made words into the Word of God)

.
Lol, now you’re worry about doctrines that don’t come from the Bible.😃

The Words used in the Bible are the very first recordings of the Revelation of Jesus Christ. Every Word recorded is critical and there for a reason. It stands alone and unprecedented and is in no need for man made additions or removals.

Man-made additions and removals amount to the gradual movement away from the truth and the jeopardisation of people’s salvation.

Servant 19 how in the world can you possibly be telling me this when you believe Baha’u’llah is the word of God:shrug:

**You blind guides! You strain out a gnat but swallow a camel.

Matthew 23:24**

You seem to be unable to understand that Baha’u’llah IS Jesus in spirit and in power.

So what you assign to Baha’u’llah is what you assign to Jesus 🙂

Servant, I know whats truth and what is not

It is the same word, the First and the Last.

It came in and through a different Messenger given by God in each age the Message was Given.

JimyDFG - I would consider that Truth for us changes as we change ourselves, the more we let go of self the more Truth changes. Or should I say it becomes manifest in us as the Good Self, the Self of God with laws.

A good meditation on this is as follows

“The good deeds of the Righteous are the sins of the near ones”

Regards Tony

But the Message goes against the Catholic faith.

It doesn’t make sense for truth to change. IF this “truth” is God, why would he HAVE to change just because we did? Or the word of God. What is this driving force that changes “truth” so much?

As Jesus said, " my words will never pass away."

Does Islam have Creeds ?
The Shahada is considered the basic Islamic creed, in my understanding. Converts often recite it to profess their new faith and to “officially” become Muslim, I think.
لا إله إلا الله محمد رسول الله
lā ʾilāha ʾillā-llāh, muḥammadur-rasūlu-llāh
There is no god but God. Muhammad is the messenger of God.

Looks like this Creed is trying to lock Jesus out the picture.

Now, say for instance, I am a Baha’i and I believe in Baha’u’llah and His Knowledge is the knowledge of God and infallible. Now if a 1,000 people tell me Muhammad was evil but Baha’u’llah tells me He’s a man of God then I know He’s a man of God because an infallible Messenger of God has spoken it and it cannot be wrong or incorrect.
Your belief is completely based on the assumption that anything Baha’u’llah said was correct. I do not share your assumption.

Right, and you could easily get 1000 people to tell you Muhammad was evil, but you can’t find 1000 people to tell you Jesus was evil.
