Those hard boiled eggs are white, perhaps the lighting is making them look yellow.

Onion skins. Take the skins off the onion, get some water and white vinegar. put the onion skins in and watch VERY closely. Depending on how long you leave them in it will be pale yellow to orange. Shut off the heat and strain out the skins. There’s your yellow.

I remember every year for many years getting a marzipan lamb from my Aunt Mary. She bought one for all of her nieces and nephews for many years. She purchased them from an Italian bakery…we were Italian, both sides of our families.

My mom’s custom was to make individual cookies for her three daughters and all the other cousins in the family. A decorated egg with the name of the child on it was on the top of the thick cookie dough…and baked over the egg was a braided cookie dough handle. We all so enjoyed receiving that special treat. Wish I had pictures to show, but I sure enjoyed seeing all the pictures others had!
