To make your own butter, you can just buy whipping cream and put it in a stand mixer with a whipping attachment. Turn it on high and let it do its thang. (If you add a bit of powdered sugar and vanilla, you can stop when it reaches stiff peaks and you have whipped cream way better than storebought.) You could add a bit of salt or honey or other flavoring to suit your needs.
We make an Easter cheese bread that is really good (family recipe, but similar to
this.)
We also do leg of lamb in the crock pot with basically
this recipe. We add brown mustard to the marinade.
We’re serving the lamb with roasted red potatoes and sour beans (steamed green beans with bacon, a bit of flour, salt, pepper, and lots of vinegar - it’s my husband’s favorite thing in the world for holiday dinners).
For dessert I’m making pineapple upside down cake and also serving an Irish cream cheesecake I found at Aldi.
