Eastern Catholic Relations with the Roman Catholic and Orthodox Churches

Yes, it depends where you are out, or what’s the history. The Melkites, for instance have excellent relations with the Orthodox, the UGCC, not so good.
The UGCC churches around here and the various Orthodox jurisdictions all have warm relations. Friendship is always better than bitterness. Christ taught love.

Many Eastern Catholics feel this way. I remember personally hearing a Melkite priest tell me a group of friends that the Latin bishops don’t care much for the Melkites and would rather that the Melkites not exist. He didn’t go into great detail, and again that is just the personal opinion of one Melkite priest.
 
as far as i know the CC has humbled herself in the hopes that OC come in full communion with the west. the CC has cried out for ages for the Churches to be reunited and it seems it is about to happen.
