No, there has been no major schism in the eastern Church like there was in the western Church. There have been some small break away groups throughout the centuries, like that of the Russian Old Believers and some Independent Orthodox Churches breaking away, but aside for that nothing as big as the Protestantism has happened in the east.I was just curious, the Protestant reformation always seems to be in context of the West between the Catholic Church and reformers.
