I have heard to stay away from yoga and other eastern practices. Any others? Is accupucture also not good?
Yoga can be practiced without any religious trappings, purely as exercise. Most yoga teachers do use eastern terms such as Chakra, but these are terms for the energy flow in the body and are not necessarily religious. Just check with the teacher.
Acupuncture is a medical practice and you can have it performed without the practitioner saying anything to you except, “Does that feel better?” Acupuncture does work and is covered by many insurance policies.
Decide for yourself. No one can make you do yoga or any other highly spiritually enlightening religious practices. People will often lie about these religious practices and say “Demons” or the so-called “Devil” is behind them. They’ve been around longer then the Devil has and saying their from the Devil is exactly like saying Judas was actually Xenu ( Xenu is a Scientology invention). The same thinking can be applied to ancient Pagan religions. Saying Ra = “Satan” is like saying Darth Vader is Kain (from Genesis), Darth Vader was invented long after Kain was, and the Devil was invented long after Ra or the Indian Spiritual practices were.I have heard to stay away from yoga and other eastern practices. here’s another thread about yogaI do believe in good and evil. The same way that we have angels and good spirits, there are also demons and evil spirits. I believe that as Christians we should arm ourselves and be ready to battle evil. The evil one uses all sorts of things to draw us close to him and away from Christ.
What is that?Be very careful with Kundalini yoga.
