It appears to have an edge in time, at the Big Bang. Whether or not it has an edge in space, depends on whether it is closed or open. The observable universe does have an edge that is defined by the speed of light. Your question is meaningless. The Big Bang happened ‘here’ for all possible values of ‘here’ in the universe. Remember that at the time of the Big Bang, the entire universe was the size of a sub-atomic particle. Very shortly after the Big Bang it got a lot larger, a period known as “Inflation”. I think it would be quite amusing if you could go one direction in the universe and eventually end up where you started - kind of like Asteroids.What do you expect? A concrete wall at the end???
Assuming the universe is finite, which is not established, it might be a closed surface, like the skin of a sphere such as Earth. Earth is finite, yet has no “edges.”

Yeah, that link earlier in this thread amazed me when it explained that we can’t see farther than 14,000,000,000 light years away even if there is something there - because the light that would make what’s out there visible to us has literally not had time to reach us yet!It appears to have an edge in time, at the Big Bang. From what has been posted, it seems that at the present time the universe’s boundary is unknown.
Or, the universe is without limits.
Can math measure a universe without a known boundary?
If the universe is infinite, can our human developed math handle the infinite?
How does that effect the Big Bang?
