And, you are willing to secede complete control to the Democrats to teach the Republicans a lesson? This makes no logical sense, whatsoever. Especially, since you have no control of the results. It’s a very poorly devised gambling strategy.

I recommend you take everything you own and place it on 00 at the roullette table this weekend. It’s a great way to teach people a lesson.
Who said complete control? On the other hand, I live in a blue state so it really doesn’t matter who I vote for for congress.

Well, we already had one voter pitching that this is the last free election for America.
That was my post, although the quote isn’t mine. It’s from Father George Rutler, who’s a lot smarter than me.

Here’s the link again, in case anyone missed it: Father Rutler quoted in CWR:

catholicworldreport.com/Item/1488/blithe_christianity_and_the_last_free_election.aspx

One may think that’s hyperbole, but Fr. Rutler doesn’t think so. They have elections in Cuba too. And yes, when it comes to religious liberty, I think the situation really is as serious as Fr. Rutler states.

But I’m not much optimistic about the outcome. I think that many, including Catholics, will think themselves willing to trade religious liberty for some freebies.

In the end it won’t matter, because this president is quite likely to explode the debt in a second term, leading to economic collapse.
