She’s got a very interesting personal life with few strokes & made it through… very lucky.

What other profession convinces young girls to take their clothes off in an interview, in order to determine whether they are sexy enough for the part?
Pornography, but that’s not really a different profession, is it?
… some Hollywood actresses are subjected to the same thing, esp when they are first trying to break into the business. I’m not really casting blame on the actresses, because there are a lot of creepy, power hungry, pervs in Hollywood management (directors, producers, etc.). AGAIN - NOT all of them, but there are several Harvey Weinsteins in Hollywood. He was not an outlier.

What you don’t like about feminists is irrelevant to the merits of Clarke’s decision to stop doing nude scenes
Most anti feminists/liberals are guilty of this.

Even if she’s blaming men, it’s clear that she’s blaming a specific group of men. Men that make women get into situations like this. I can’t imagine decent men getting offended over an actress blaming producers for exploiting women.

She pointed out that Jason Mamoa respected her and took care of her. She talks about how she asked for the sheets to stay up, and they said no.

The article didn’t suggest that she labels this as a Metoo issue as well. It was the writer, correct me if im wrong. She said that if season 1 was filmed today, she wouldn’t have been in those situations.

Keep in mind that her first nude scene was an actor (who plays her brother in the show) who had to touch her in some weird scene. And she had to be in a rape scene which was then apparently labelled as ‘hot sex’. Feminists were the ones that spoke out against how creepy it was, as much as CAF hates them, lol.

And she seems right. I can’t imagine a rape scene being accepted today. Especially when the actress herself has spoken about how she had to cry before filming because she was so uncomfortable and nobody would let her cover up.

This is an excellent point. She’s not blinded by misandry or in any way fulfilling that man-hating-feminist stereotype. On the contrary, a lot of women have been able to stand up against their objectification with men supporting them, and she’s able to acknowledge this.

I had no idea that the scene involved rape. ((Shudder)).

As if I needed yet another reason to like Jason Momoa 😎
