This will be explained/excused away, as they screech about the Obamas and Clintons getting rich after leaving office.

Can’t see it as a news story.

Pres. Trump came into office as a very wealthy man. Was he suppose to give all his wealth away or give the total reins over to his children before/during/after his election?

I believe that was an issue early on and his children now run a great deal of his business interests.

Yes he was, after his election. He claims he has, but that’s just one in a long line of proven falsehoods he advances.

You are hand-waiving and failed to make a logical argument.

Haven’t seen anyone who said what the Obamas or Clintons did post govt employment was illegal. The only criticism I recall was the millions flowing into the Clinton foundation while she was Sec of State, and a probable future POTUS.

By all means we should let the court decide if Trump is violating the emoluments clause, but I don’t see it.

The president of the United States works for us. He should not have conflicts of interest because of his continued ownership of his businesses.

He also donates his salary we pay him. Both Bush presidents were very rich while in office, no one made a big deal about them continuing their family business. John F Kennedy’s father was one of the richest men in the country at the time, no one made a big deal about how much money the Kennedys had.

This obsession with Trump’s money and his businesses isn’t about a rich president but more about the fact the president’s name is Trump.

Or, more about the moral turpitude of what the impression of the Trump name that he unwittingly advances…

In your opinion.
What an irrelevant statement…of course “In my opinion”. This category is a place to offer opinion on news…Do you really think yourhas more credence?

No.

No president continued to run businesses while president. George W Bush wasn’t a businessman with Bush hotels holding galas for congressmen and foreign government reps.

His job is to be president. It’s not a part time job, or a seat on a board of directors of a charity.

He was supposed to completely divest.

He hasn’t. It’s a huge conflict of interest.

Mine being based on truth, not on the filtered garbage coming from leftist media, is certainly has more credence. Much of what the left posts on here are the same talking points that are reported on CNN, Washington Post, NYT, and other far left media outlets.

I noticed you didn’t respond to the statement of Trump donating his salary to good charitable organizations. Just passed that one on by.

It was a simple request. I’m sorry you are unable to answer where you get your information regarding Trump. Given your hatred of all things Trump it isn’t surprising you can’t really name where the hatred comes from.

None of my thinking is what you call “wishful”.
