It isn’t that I don’t believe Jesus will return one day, and it isn’t that I don’t care, but I know the timing is up to God & I don’t have to know. I answered the OP because I wanted to reassure him that a lunar eclipse is nothing to be alarmed by - it isn’t a sign of anything. This “blood moon” business was made up by a few protestants to sell books.

Even So, I have seen many of your posts, and it seems to me that you are beyond caring about the end times, you are obsessed. I think that the person answering that question was trying to make the poster feel better, by saying they themselves don’t worry (there was definitely worry in the original post). I think you constantly reminding everyone that Jesus is coming and things are happening in the world isn’t doing anyone any good. We all know there’s a chance it could be any day, be it tomorrow or a thousand years from now when Jesus comes. Perhaps get off the computer for a while and enjoy life?
Wow. So how do you really feel? Have i told you JESUS is coming?😛 It’s kinda my sign off. It has nothing to do with tonight’s moon. I mean, i don’t know that. It could happen. But too many things need to happen before it happens. I, too, am trying to encourage the poster to hang around and maybe they will learn something that just happens to makes sense. At the very least the can enjoy heckling me like you:). JESUS loves u. So do i. I mean, i don’t even know you, but, you know what i mean. Like JESUS commanded. Right? I need some coffee so i can stay up and shove this Blood Moon thing down everyone’s throat kinda like another pseudochrist named Nero did back in the day with, er, nevermind. :o

It doesn’t seem that way to me. Saying ominous things like “For how much longer thereafter?” when someone tells someone to enjoy something is a fear-mongering tactic. I suffer from bad anxiety (always have) and it’s things like this that set me off, because I start thinking all kinds of depressing things. It kinda seems like you like stirring up trouble. 🤷

That is certainly an opinion you are entitled to. But there are Jews who agree and even a few Catholics. Have you heard of Rabbi Kahn? He did a short 15 minute video recently and i will put up the link if interested on something else called a shemitah, if you have heard of it. No coincidence the first he mentions was in '73. Roe v Wade? Worry about moons later. And i have no idea if anything big will happen. GOD bless ya and hava great night. Sky is clear over my house. Clouds shroud the moon to the east. Figures, don’t it. Oh well 🤷.

Just because the average Catholic church is even shyer about giving a nod of acknowledgement to these things than the average Protestant church, doesn’t mean it’s not Catholic.

The point is, the Lord isn’t going to “just turn up”. He instructed us to watch for signs. Parts of these may well be chronologically predictable in a limited sense but only parts. There is going to be a sequence of events. We largely don’t understand the details. The discerning will have seen some of them coming, in a way.
He also said he would come at a time NO ONE expects…I think that is interesting.

Most of the signs Jesus spoke of either have happened or are happening, plus the time we are currently in, there has been no other time in history when so many of these signs are taking place at the same time, that is the difference between things that have happened in the past.

I dont think the blood moons mean anything though, not when it comes to Jesus anyway, I do recognize in the past, some significant events happened around the time of past blood moons, but nothing to do with Jesus or biblical teachings that Im aware of.

Theres too much that still has to happen for the second coming to occur anytime within this year though.

This Jewish New Year is regarded as a special jubilee year since it is a sabbatical year, and Rabbi Cahn talks about five Shemitah, which are biblical sabbatical years based on the Hebrew Bible. However, it should be noted that his ideas are still speculation about the Coming of the Messiah. This kind of specific speculation is permitted within Judaism although there are several other, more generalized ideas. Certain Orthodox Jews, for example, claim the Messiah will appear only when the world is at its worst OR at its best, the latter dependent on the observance of at least one Sabbath by all Jews. Many of the Orthodox say the Messiah may come at ANY time. There is also a theory that the Messiah will appear before the Jewish Year of 6000 since each millennium represents one of the six days of Creation. IOW, no one knows for sure, and too much focus on this event within Judaism is somewhat frowned upon.

Wow. i am extremely sorry you feel that way. I do not wish to stir up trouble for you. But this is to reinforce that GOD is in control. And you know what? We win! When i say “JESUS is coming”, i do not mean today or tomorrow. If you believe, things need to happen for us to get to our goal. By the Blood Moon, i only mean things like the Iran nuke deal has to be voted on by the end of the month. Obama and Putin meet tomorrow i think.* That* could be big. But it usually has to do with Israel, not us directly. Fear is healthy if it is fear of the LORD. Keep your focus on JESUS. Don’t fret anything. Idunno if you are not being told you have a hope, but you always do. Just say JESUS.
Heb 11:7 By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.
We will not need an ark to be saved.
1Jn 4:4 Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them (antichrists from 4:3): because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.
Fear of GOD gives you all the above. Keep your focus on JESUS. He is our hope. Ask Him to be your Savior. Here is a key verse for you to focus on:
Rev 3:10 Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.
My hope is not to be on earth when this happens and i want you to have the same. Patience. GOD bless and praying for you.

Hey, did you see that video from the other thread? It was right in line with what you were talking about.

While I knew that a lunar eclipse was not a precursor to anything, I was rather looking forward to seeing a red moon. But it was just like the last eclipse I saw - dark. No red at all.

Now that the world will go on merrily - or not so merrily in some places - I wonder what the true believers are going to say. Set a new date? Say, like one cult did, that Jesus came back invisibly? I feel sorry for the gullible followers, but I hope the promoters will get a well-deserved tongue lashing via the media.

Yes, I did, I saw Kahn the other day on Sid roths supernatural tv show. I may have misunderstood him, but Im fairly sure he said anytime between this sept 2015 and next sept 2016 is when something could happen, the shemitah lasts for a full year, he said things happen at the end, but Im not sure on this.

.
Yeah, I was thinking the same thing, everyone said it was going to be reddish color, but we had clear skies the entire night and the moon was large and bright, but never did it appear red…??

IMHO Jesus will come when people stop obsessing over it.

Well, that will never happen, somehow I doubt anything we feel or do, has no impact on Gods decision about when the right time is going to be.

However the second coming does not have to happen for God to bring judgement, as he did in the past, he could very well destroy cities without Jesus coming again, this would show people that he is very much in control, I guess whenever he gets to the point where he cant take being slapped in the face anymore, is when he will set things in motion.

I think you both may be correct here.

From NY to AZ i texteded with a few friends and family who saw it. It was also supposed to be a “supermoon”? Which is just huge from a non perfeshnal pov…

Ya know, i haven’t heard any say anything this time. Have you info on it? I thought the whole Camping thing would have woke 'em up a little bit. But that is why you check your resources.
