In the words of His Son:

*The Blessed Perfection was a prisoner twenty-five years. During all this time He was subjected to the indignities and revilement of the people. He was persecuted, mocked and put in chains. In Iran His properties were pillaged and His possessions confiscated. First, banishment from Iran to Baghdad; then to Constantinople; then Adrianople; finally from Roumelia to the prison fortress of 'AkkĂĄ.

During His lifetime He was intensely active. His energy was unlimited. Scarcely one night was passed in restful sleep. He bore these ordeals, suffered these calamities and difficulties in order that a manifestation of selflessness and service might become apparent in the world of humanity; that the Most Great Peace should become a reality; that human souls might appear as the angels of heaven; that heavenly miracles would be wrought among men; that human faith should be strengthened and perfected; that the precious, priceless bestowal of God, the human mind, might be developed to its fullest capacity in the temple of the body; and man become the reflection and likeness of God, even as it hath been revealed in the Bible: “We shall create man in Our own image.”

Briefly; the Blessed Perfection bore all these ordeals and calamities in order that our hearts might become enkindled and radiant, our spirits be glorified, our faults become virtues, our ignorance transformed into knowledge; in order that we might attain the real fruits of humanity and acquire heavenly graces; although pilgrims upon earth we should travel the road of the heavenly kingdom; although needy and poor we might receive the treasures of life eternal. For this has He borne these difficulties and sorrows.

“Whilst declining such wealthy position and income, Bahá’u’lláh showed astonishing generosity. The doors of His home were open to all, and He always had many guests, giving abundantly to all in need. He was a refuge for every weak one, a shelter for the fearful one, kind to the destitute, and lenient and loving to all creatures. This unbounded generosity amazed everyone, as He did not use it to promote His position; rather, it was clear to everyone that such free generosity would quickly cause His wealth to disappear entirely. The more spiritually-minded saw in these acts His attraction to the celestial realm of God and a great destiny to come”.

Even if Bahá’u’lláh was a saint that still doesn’t bring him up to the level of the second coming of Jesus, we need miracles for that at least.I’m sorry but Bahá’u’lláh life was nothing extraordinary.😦

Asking for miracles is seeking that which is worldly, that which perisheth:
John 6:26 Jesus answered them, and said: Amen, amen I say to you, you seek me, not because you have seen miracles, but because you did eat of the loaves, and were filled.
27 Labour not for the meat which perisheth, but for that which endureth unto life everlasting, which the Son of man will give you. For him hath God, the Father, sealed.
God will never respond to such worldly things:
Mark 8:11 And the Pharisees came forth, and began to question with him, asking him a sign from heaven, tempting him.
12 And sighing deeply in spirit, he saith: Why doth this generation seek a sign? Amen, I say to you, a sign shall not be given to this generation.
Asking for miracles is following the Devil’s example:
Matt 4:1 Then Jesus was led by the spirit into the desert,** to be tempted by the devil.**
2 And when he had fasted forty days and forty nights, afterwards he was hungry.
3 And the tempter coming said to him: If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread.
4 Who answered and said: It is written, Not in bread alone doth man live, but in every word that proceedeth from the mouth of God.
5 Then the devil took him up into the holy city, and set him upon the pinnacle of the temple,
6 And said to him: If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down, for it is written: That he hath given his angels charge over thee, and in their hands shall they bear thee up, lest perhaps thou dash thy foot against a stone.
7 Jesus said to him: It is written again: Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.
Baha’u’llah performed many miracles. A believer compiled them all into a big book presented it to Baha’u’llah in Baghdad. Baha’u’llah took the book and threw it into the River Tigris.

Only God would be so sure of Himself that He can convey His Mission to all without the need to have miracles as proof.

He was Foretold by Shaykh Ahmad before He was Born and as he was being Born

Birth of Bahá’u’lláh - Bahá’u’lláh’s father had seven wives, and a great many children through them. At dawn, on the second day of the Islamic Year, on 12 November 1817, his wife Khadijih Khanum gave birth to the eldest of her surviving sons.

At that very same moment, Shaykh Ahmad, who announced the coming of the Báb and Bahá’u’lláh, was found fallen upon his face, repeating in wrapt devotion the words, ‘God is Great!’ and saying, ‘That which I have been announcing to you is now revealed. At this very hour the light of the Promised One has broken, and is shedding illumination upon the world.’ Given the name of Husayn-'Ali, as the Child grew from an infant into adulthood, He astounded all who encountered Him, and would later, as Bahá’u’lláh, change the face of history.

The story of the execution for treason of a large number of Jews, one day came before Bahá’u’lláh’s eyes, and He was so moved, so profoundly filled with sadness and grief. Yet He felt surging before Him the limitless ocean of God’s mercy and forgiveness, and He implored God to grant in the world the establishment of unity and love.

Transfiguration - A short while after, suddenly before dawn, Bahá’u’lláh was overcome by a transfiguration, lasting for twelve days, unceasingly, bringing glad-tidings of the highest success and joy. Entirely transforming His manners, thought and speech, from thenafter the ocean of His words began to surge, and the sun of assurance shone forth from Him.

By the time he was thirteen, Bahá’u’lláh was renowned for His ability to discuss any matter, and resolve any problem presented before Him.

He was always courteous and patient, and only the disrespectful reference to a Messenger or Chosen One of God was able to arouse His displeasure; even then, He would address the offender with kindliness and calm.

He appeared before large gatherings in discussions with the leading clergy, resolving intricate religious questions, whilst everyone paid deep attention and interest, and His explanations became the authoritative word on every matter.

Bahá’u’lláh’s sister asked their father if he would seek Asiyih for Bahá’u’lláh: and so their marriage took place in October 1835. Bahá’u’lláh was called “the Father of the Poor,” whilst Asiyih was named “the Mother of Consolation.”

Baha’u’llah performed many miracles. A believer compiled them all into a big book presented it to Baha’u’llah in Baghdad. Baha’u’llah took the book and threw it into the River Tigris.

When I was with you, I certainly gave you proof that I am an apostle. For I patiently did many signs and wonders and miracles among you.

2 Corinthians 12:12

So Bahá’u’lláh threw the proof of his miracles in a river to better convey his Mission that nobody has ever heard of. 🤷

Yes because as a proof not worth the Paper they are written on. It they were posted all you would get is rejection anyway. Or they would be this or they would be that, already seen it on other threads.

To put an end to this insatiable desire for miracles, Baha’u’llah did agree to perform a miracle for all to witness, one they could all choose, agree upon and bring to Him. Upon performing what was asked oh Him they in turn had to accept the Message of Baha’u’llah.

They did no front up as they could not choose and feared that Baha’u’llah would in some way acheive what they had asked, thus once and for all thrown out the door for evermore as a necessary or required proof of any Manifestation of God.

The real Miracle is changing the Heart of the People and that continues to happen daily.

Jesus GAVE the proof.

One should never ASK for the proof.

Thou shalt not tempt thy Lord Techno…

Jesus also requested His miracles not to be shared with anyone. There was a reason for this. Baha’u’llah similarly did not want His miracles to be shared to the world.

That’s quite OK - Never looked them all up, do not need to know. Jesus the Christ has my heart and Soul without a miracle show 😉

His greatest is that He is Jesus the Christ.

Yes, what he said above ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^

Let go of the world Techno…

He came to Jesus at night and said, “Rabbi, we know that you are a teacher who has come from God.** For no one could perform the signs you are doing if God were not with him.”**

John 3:2

“I have testimony weightier than that of John. For the works that the Father has given me to finish—the very works that I am doing—testify that the Father has sent me.

John 5:36

Do not believe me unless I do the works of my Father. But if I do them, even though you do not believe me,** believe the works, that you may know and understand that the Father is in me, and I in the Father.”
**
John 10:37-38

“Fellow Israelites, listen to this: Jesus of Nazareth was a man accredited by God to you by miracles, wonders and signs, which God did among you through him, as you yourselves know.

And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and** confirming the word with signs following**. Amen.

Mark 16:20

These** miraculous signs will accompany those who believe**: They will cast out demons in my name, and they will speak in new languages.

Mark 16:17

But you don’t believe that Jesus was God, so you don’t believe anyway.🤷

First of all, nowhere does it say that Jesus encouraged people to ask Him for a miracle.

Secondly, the “works” of Jesus were not His miracles.

Bahá’u’lláh wasn’t a Saint, so we have no example to follow by his life, and so this doesn’t inspire me to change my Heart to his teachings.

But you don’t believe that Jesus was God, so you don’t believe anyway.🤷
Yes we do believe Jesus was God, just not a made up version of God that is unBiblical, like an “uncreated” essence of God…
