It’s divine retribution for referring to Notre Dame as “a museum”. It’s an opportunity for you to meditate on how you view your material items and in particular this one.I accidentally started a fire on my instapot this evening. It’s ruined. I don’t know why I told you guys that.
(Which reminds me: did you get the 3-year extended warranty on it? You know, the one that when added to the cost of sending the broken item to the repair facility costs almost as much as a new item? But the repair will be free.)

Note the spurious period. In my opinion this out of place stop marks the fulfillment of the two visions that Pope St. Pius X had in 1909 and 1914.

Many, and I mean many distinct social circles (whether in faith, public discourse, secular, or non-secular, etc.) have each of their own right and opinion of speculation of the End Times.
If it is not a Blackhole that is going to swallow up the Universe. Or the Sun is going to fade out. Or a Comet, or an Asteroid hitting the earth… Or if it is Global Warming…or was it Ice Age?..or was it Climate Change?..Aliens…New World Order…the antichrist…the Rapture! Our Lady’s and Saints many warnings…
Alright, the End Times is more present here and now without any great deal of speculation. Anyone with a Thermostat or a Thermometer can tell the temperature in their home. Shouldn’t come much to anyone’s surprise the End Times is the matter of one’s death. As Our Lord said, “…no one knows the hour.” Thus be ready! Hence, why you ought to be in Sacramental Grace of the Church.

But the World is already ending. Because, it is dead in its’ sins. You could say the world is in it’s gradual progress of death. That is because of “sin.” That’s the End Time. It’s sin; thus, Death! Did we not just go through Christ’s Passion during Lent? Have we not gone through the Easter Resurrection? Why then seek the Living among the End Times (the Dead)? To borrow from the Angel’s question to Saint Mary Magdalene.

But, allow me to draw attention to something that already does the End Times to someone before they are ever born: Abortion! You don’t have to speculate. Because right there and then, you have the End Time for that child’s life, when in utero.
The people who talk about Global Warming (or whatever Nuanced Term that come by it these days) have really built the foundation and arsenal for Eugenics and Euthanasia (End Times - Death.) Thus, it’s odd to talk about saving the planet and whatever other species are on it, whilst killing your own, and advocating it.
Aliens! Why should aliens come and abduct? Honestly, if they abduct anyone. Take those who commit abortion. Find out what goes on in their mind? Or maybe don’t.
Rapture! Well, while you are building that Ark of a Boat (what about the unborn child who is going to undergo abortion?) Or what about abused children? Those who are starving? Is your boat going to save them?

Which neither of the End Times and Apocalyptic fancies of the Rapture really follow. In fact, Rapturists love condemning the world, rather than save it. it’s abandon ship, because we’re afraid of being saints.

Actually, there will not be a Global Nuclear War. Not because people haven’t used some specimen or material of nuclear base for weapons. But there will not be that great havoc as most people opine to think in a worse scenario of the atomic bomb.
The reason is, even among the nation states that utilize Nuclear weapons (North Korea, Russia, China, Iran, etc.) Will have to realize the devastation will be upon them as well.
In other words, people will settle for Socialism and Communism instead of fighting a war. It will be the peace among the nation states that have finally succumbed to the Socialist forum.
Our Lady said this in Fatima: Nations will disappear.
When in Revelation, you have the Seven Headed Hydra, the Beast, and the Harlot. Each representing a Nation state, land, people, nation, culture, country, civilization, and society. The devil runs his course influencing men through their hearts, who are in sin. Thus, when men agree on certain forms of sin. Their forum dictates and entails a socialist state.
But, as the the head of the Dragon, the Beast, and the Harlot all appear unique. They are all governed under the province of sin. Thus, that is why socialism continues to grow.
Hence, Russia (the Harlot - or at least an instance of the Harlot) spreads her errors (her potion.) This gives way to the Socialist angle and endeavor of the devil, man, and the beast.

Sir, with all due respect, you are too sure of yourself. The prophets predict the nuclear war, and YHWH promised that He Himself would not be the cause of the next world-wide disaster (Gen. 8:21)
Even as we speak both Russia and the USA silently continue to develop their nuclear first-strike capabilities. The MAD protocol has always been precarious. It will become much more so.

I wasn’t being sure of myself. I was, however, being sure of the countries who have succumbed to the Socialist empire. Will not truly hold onto using those Nuclear Arms, as they are going to end up making peace among each other. Relatively soon. And, because the tragedy of Nuclear Arms that would be brought about, would lay havoc and destruction onto their own. Neither the Korean dictator, the Russian KGB PM, the Iranian state Imam, and the Socialist Republic Chinese president would jeopardize their own lives.
For, even if they all bundled together, and hankered down in basements (bunkers.) They are not that incredulous when it comes to fact and history (Germany, Japan, Russia, etc.) All fronts of World War II.
They also would not be negligent in the modern era, for the many earthquakes accompanying their countries (many around North Korea and China.) They wouldn’t be so foolish to believe they are immune to natural disaster. Which quite frankly has done more havoc in a given moment than any moment of the wars of these countries.
In other words, while Iran, North Korea, Russia, and China hunker down in the basements. The wonder is the magma underlying the earth’s crust, is truly agnostic. In other words, earthquakes can strike anywhere, at anytime. Thus, those who think of building Nuclear Arms, might want to consider, none of them are immune to the havoc that can be wrought by natural disaster more so than any man made weapon. Which I believe considering the Tsunami that hit Japan some number of years ago. They are prone as well.

N. Korea is just playing the USA for time while they deploy a credible ICBM force. They do not think the same way that we do and are willing to risk a nuclear war to achieve unification. Then there is the Zionist issue in the Middle East which Iran views as a crime against humanity. Iran also continues the development of its nuclear war capability. Not to mention India/Pakistan issues. That’s why we read in Jeremiah:

You keep on declaring that your interpretation regarding the final fire being nukes is the only possible one. I understand that nukes are dangerous, but that doesn’t automatically lead to the conclusions you are drawing. Furthermore, I find it hard to believe that nukes are the ultimate sin of mankind. For example, the evil that nukes could unleash is only in potentiality. On the other hand, we have evil that is currently unleashed through abortions is actualized continuously for the last half century, give or take a few years depending on the country.
