Not all vegans are pro-abortion. I know two vegan nuns-in training.

Actually, the most solid indicator of someone being pro-abortion is if they are against the death penalty. (The reverse is not true.)

Well, then if I didn’t knew anything about Pope John Paul II I would have thought he was pro-abortion, by your logic.

This thread has gone far off topic and is turning into a one-sided rambling of far right critics, that come from time to time with news. I urge the moderators to analyze this and act as they see fit.

Socialism and Masonry are the two major dangers we face as Christians
I agree completely. But opposing them doesn’t mean accusing ecologists, anti-death penalty people and any “popular social topic” group. After all, freemasons and socialists cause more death and pollution than us.

they are the ones scheming for world population control and a fixed economy based on connections and corruption, be it in a socialist goverment, or in a masonic lodge.

One “War of Psalm 83” coming up!

Note: with all the public discussion of this, I suspect that by spring the Arab states around Israel will decide it’s better if they strike first. Which has worked wonderfully every other time they tried it.

I am on video two of Spiritual Warfare by Fr. Ripperger, and at the end of the talk, they have a Q&A. The purple scapular came up, and is said to protect your household during the tribulation. I might purchase it, although it’s quite expensive. It was recommended by Marie-Julie Jahenny, and I’m unaware of who she is and if we are even allowed to discuss her here.

You can read about her on the Mystics of the Church website. She has not been declared a saint, but her writings (at least in French) and her prayers and devotions (for a time in high school and college I was devoted to the Wound on Our Lord’s Shoulder) have spread so far it’s hard to not think about discussing them. After serveral years of examination, her local bishop declared Marie-Julie’s stigmata and ecstasies were of a supernatural order. Since her stigmata and messages have recv’d at least local approval I see no reason why cannot discuss them here.

I know that all times are perilous, and that in every time serious and anxious minds, alive to the honor of God and the needs of man, are apt to consider no times so perilous as their own. At all times the enemy of ! souls assaults with fury the Church which is their true Mother, and at least threatens and frightens when he fails in doing mischief. And all times have their special trials which others have not… Doubtless, but still admitting this, still I think… ours has a darkness different in kind from any that has been before it. The special peril of the time before us is the spread of that plague of infidelity, that the Apostles and our Lord Himself have predicted as the worst calamity of the last times of the Church. And at least a shadow, a typical image of the last times is coming over the world . —St. John Henry Cardinal Newman (1801-1890 A.D.), sermon at opening of St. Bernard’s Seminary, October 2, 1873, The Infidelity of the Future

Truly a saint for our time.

The creation of avatars will change everything in our societies: politics, economics, medicine, health-care, food industry, construction methods, transportation, trade, banking, etc. The whole architecture of society will be transformed, there will be an increase in its self-organization, people will unite to fight the biggest and universal concerns of humankind – that of death.

I would not put Our Lady of La Salette in the same mix as Fatima and Akita.

I was under the impression that the initial visions of La Salette were approved, but a later version of the secret by Melanie Calvat, the female seer, wasn’t.

Jimmy Akin, the author of the article also does a podcast on the subject. You’ll get answers here.

In the context of that meme, I would. IIRC Our Lady spoke about a famine coming to France following the potato famine in Ireland; and in fact the disease that killed the potatoes struck across northern Europe the next year.

The seers also prophesied numerous other predictions that never came true. I don’t believe in track records in regards to Marian apparitions. Either their all true or their not. Black and white, just like heaven and hell.

Were the prophesies not fulfilled, or have they been unfulfilled yet?
