Vatican and Bethlehem both have coronavirus case(s).

There are 100,000 cases worldwide.
7.7 billion of us.
1 in 77,000

Bethlehem has 16 cases in a population of 25,000. 1 in 1500.
Vatican has one case in population of 1,000.
1 in 1,000.

Think about how unlikely that is.

Yes, but infected with the version that causes major lung damage, or with the version that’s more like a mild cold? And does infection bring protection against further infection with it?

Almost all those who are infected will have mild symptoms. But still totally there will be many fatalities.
 
Yeah. And it sure is eerie that the virus is strangely similar to what we got, and the place where it originated is the same.

Not so much, no. It’s been known since it was set up that Wuhan was the location for a level-4 biohazard research facility. We have similar facilities set up around the country, in our case to research vaccines and such to stop the spread of any new versions of smallpox, etc. Although China is a signatory to the agreements to outlaw research into bio-warfare, it’s been clear since the ink was dry that China was violating those agreements (although never so much that they could be called out on them). Koontz is a good enough author that he knows it’s better to simply use an existing facility as a plot device than to invent a new one in a totally random place in China.

This is also the place in China that originated SARS, so this would not be the first “accidental release” of bio-hazardous material. I heard on EWTN Radio two days ago that one of the researchers at Wuhan a few months back was arrested, convicted, and imprisoned for selling “left-over lab animals” to that meat market where COVID-19 supposedly originated.

As for COVID-19 having Chinese-specific genetic material: Rather than assuming this was some agent to release on their own people, I believe that if they needed human genetic material for whatever reason, they’re going to use the material from the people around them, i.e., Chinese people.
 
Found it interesting that Emmett O’Regan thinks the restoration of the church would be in 2020 after watching his youtube interview with Fr. Heilman.

When he says “restoration of the church”, he is explaining that Satan’s time to run rampant on earth is now finished. Of course, I can’t help but think about how all of our trade systems worldwide will have to start new as a result of the corona virus epidemic. US trade with China enabled their anti Christian hold on it’s people. It needed to end.

Interesting.

Just wanted to mention here that someone on an Irish forum dedicated to Mary, claims to have had dreams indicating “something” happening on March 18. Nothing more than that, other than people on the forum are hoping it’s the alleged “Warning” that some people are promoting.
 
I’m ready for whatever happens now. My wife said she doesn’t care if I get it and die so not much to fight for. Just have to try and stay in a state of grace if confessions are cancelled. It does sound like Our Lady of Akita’s warning.
 
Funny thing is I was playing scrabble with the ai yesterday and he put down the word virus, the worst part was he put it on a triple word score. 😧

I also started watching an episode of on the buses and the episode was called the epidemic. 🤨

Where is the prophecy about people not being able to bury the dead because there are so many?

It’s not a prophecy, per se. It’s something popularized in a speech by President Regan, when he quoted someone else (can’t remember who) who wrote that in the event of a nuclear war, the living would envy the dead.
 
I actually just finished that last week. I also was not a fan of the unapproved apparitions included, especially the one in Bosnia, but the Warning has been prophesied by other approved saints, too. It is crazy to me how quickly things have picked up speed the past few years, but especially this year in particular. Things are going full speed ahead on the apocalyptic meter. Lent last year had Notre Dame burning, this year during Lent we have a global flu pandemic. I can’t help but thinking of Marie Julie Jahenney about how the Chastisement will start with Paris. All our Masses are being suppressed until ?? I know God is in control and we are not to have a spirit of fear, but I pray I and my family can stay in a state of Grace for several months time if the sacraments aren’t going to be readily available.

Also, random thought after I posted this, didn’t a priest run into burning Norte Dame to save Our Lord in the tabernacle, as well as the crown of thorns (corona). Obviously that was a heroic deed, not one to be punished by a pandemic flu named after it, but whose to say the powers that be weren’t in charge of naming this (accidental on purpose 😉😉) virus that name for that very reason??

Interesting observation, linking the Holy Thorns to the coronavirus. However, the virus is named “corona” due to its shape as seen through a microscope, having a “crown.”

Still, one might reflect on the fact that the Crown of Thorns afflicted Our Lord; now the Body of Christ is being afflicted by a crown of another type.

I find it odd this thread has been so active over the last decade or so (guessing) and now that we are in such a time as we have all referred to (perhaps) the thread has grown so quiet.

Maybe every one is out buying toilet paper

CORONA VIRUS WORST CASE SCENARIO.
Being that we live in the age of instant worldwide communication and misinformation, things could change on a global scale over a very short time span— from millions of deaths to a world economic collapse that leads to dire misery and social turmoil as has never been seen in modern times.

In the context of fake news, the blame game could easily lead to nuclear war among countries that are already are on edge of war. Worldwide conspiracy theories are already gaining steam around the world, and already in Iran; the government is blaming the U.S. for the corona virus, and China has accused the U.S. of biological warfare, while the use of cash is already being shunned as a danger means of spreading the deadly biological virus. All of this would leave in its wake the rise of centralized global government, a cashless society and setting up history for a world leader offering solutions to the world’s problems to take the stage. According to Scripture, ¡the anti-Christ will reign before the Second Coming of Christ.

In the approved private of the Divine Mercy, Christ told St. Faustina:

You will prepare the world for My final coming. ( Diary 429)

Determined is the day of justice, the day of divine wrath. The angels tremble before it. Speak to souls about this great mercy while it is still the time for granting mercy. ( Diary 635).
