Yes!Interesting. I like it.
I assume the point is to have people ask why the Church is red. I presume the answer to be something like, “Red, to call attention to the blood spilled by Christians in the Middle East.”I don’t get it. Will the red for blood thing be understood as a tribute to the persecuted?
Still …
… it sounds better than that “White House garnished in ugly rainbow colors” gloating taunt after the SCOTUS approved Same Sex “Marriage” thing.
And the traditional color of Communism.I assume the point is to have people ask why the Church is red. I presume the answer to be something like, “Red, to call attention to the blood spilled by Christians in the Middle East.”
From what I understand, red is the liturgical color for martyrdom.
What else would the English think it means?I don’t get it. Will the red for blood thing be understood as a tribute to the persecuted?
I hear you. I haven’t decided yet if they’re a passing phase or here to stay. If it’s here to stay, I better start learning the language. I feel the same way about most of the slogans I see on clothing. We’re so much more than billboard (name removed by moderator)ut/outputs.A noble attempt to be sure but I find all these “awareness” things a tad gimmicky. Something about it bothers me.
