Boy, is that disheartening. :nope:

This is really depressing. I don’t even know what to say.

It seems the British are doing an A+ job of ridding themselves of everything that used to make that country great.

It seems the seperation of church and state in the UK can be directly violated only if the purpose is to attack Christianity.

I find it ironic that even though England is a theocracy of sorts (a very very loose definition of the word theocracy), it goes all out in attacking the very religion upon which the theocracy was founded.

The UK is not America. We do not have any “separation of Church and State” here, we have an officially established religion - the Church of England, and the Head of State is also the head of the Church of England. By Law no Catholic can be Head of State.

“Equality Bill” – looks like some are more equal than others. Why don’t they start with the equal right of Catholics to be sovereigns?

Exactly!!!That’s why I will NEVER swear allegiance to the queen or any of her dysfunctional brood.Hopefully in the not too distant future this country(mine)will be a republic.

At the current moment, a bishop may dismiss a celibate, Catholic man from his seminary training because he, the bishop, has discerned that the man does not have a calling to the priesthood. How would that change under this proposed law?

Aahhhhh … 1534! The golden years are here again.
Time to clear the cobwebs out of the Tower.
