Not sure what will trigger them to go home again. Sweeping change isn’t going to happen overnight, and if BLM’s website is to be used as a target of goals, isn’t going to happens much at all.

The protestors run the risk of overplaying their hand though. They go from appearing serious and committed to an important cause (one of many) to allowing the nation to becomes worn out, fed up, and saying “alright, enough is enough.”

Once public sentiment goes from sympathy and shared frustration to annoyance, they have undercut their message, and having looters, vandals and murderers associated with them is only going to expedite some Americans saying “alright, I am done.”
