??? What kind of broad conspiracy theory is this??? All of the major oil companies admitt themselves that the massive burning of fossil fuels is causing global warming. Why on earth would it help
them to admit this?
I’m not convinced by the “evidence” presented for “global warming” as being reliable.

But you have to admit there are quite a number of pols who shout about the sky falling, not to mention that there are those who use “global warming” as a weapon to attempt to curtail our freedoms and economic power.
Low flush toilets have nothing to do with global warming. They are to save water. Mine works fine.
Apparently you missed my point…which is to say that the “solutions” often make matters worse. Maybe I’m more full of **** than you are?

I’ve never had luck with those things.
You are always going to find somebody who makes outlandish statements. Using those (or a few dissenters) as a basis for denying basically the entire scientific communties findings is just silly.
Um…that’s not what I’m doing. Claiming or implying that the “**entire **scientific communit

” has reached a consensus is simply false. And…if there was a consensus, such folks as we’ve mentioned wouldn’t be dissenters.
It’s not about “saving the planet” the planet will exist just fine. It’s about making the most of it for those of us who will be living on earth in the future.
That’s not what Al Gore says…it’s entirely about saving the planet for him and many others in power.
Yes, you are right. China energy demand is growing. But what are you saying “don’t do anything”?
Nope. Just making a point about being sensible and not buying hook-line-and sinker every option, the silly ones especially, that a previous poster suggested doing. I’m also saying if China isn’t willing to do their share, why should we in the USA be made the scapegoat for global climate change? (And be forced to accept the economic consequences)
I don’t see anybody in panic mode.
Then you aren’t looking very hard.
