This is so wrong, such a violation of our freedoms and our faith that I cannot even talk about it. Father, forgive them.

Right!

My heart breaks for what is going on right now. Was it really necessary to tear gas members of the clergy?!

According to the US govt, they did NOT use tear gas, regardless of what the media keeps saying. The US Parks service says that smoke canisters were used, not tear gas.

Also, the govt says they gave the protestors 3 warnings to clear the path.

It’s also worth noting that the pastor of St. John’s was being interviewed at 7PM by FoxNews, right afterwards. He had no idea that the President even walked over to St. John’s church. The church doors were locked.

I wonder if the White House planned (without calling St. John’s) to go inside, but the doors were locked because the priests were NOT there?

And yet the White House doesn’t deny the use of tear gas.
White House’s stated reasons for tear gas attack on protesters don’t add up - Vox
I don’t know… I only know that today (that article was from yesterday) the govt said they didn’t use tear gas, they used smoke canisters.

Tear gas or not does not negate the shameless use of the Bible for a prop and Church for a photo op background

Reminds one of the axiomatic quote, “when fascism comes to America, it will be cloaked in a flag and be carrying a cross!”

Does it make it better if they used smoke canisters to attack the clergy for the sake of a photo op?

Seriously people? Stop believing the media’s lies. Here:

I will never consider any argument someone makes ever when they cite Shapiro. Worse than Fox News…

Thoughts?
I’d start with, “checking facts before making public announcements and publishing articles about them.”

After a few hours, when someone else looked, it turned out that no tear gas was used (they were smoke canisters), and that it had nothing to do with the upcoming visit (which the police didn’t know about), but rather that they were attacking the police.

But that didn’t fit the narrative, so . . .
