Equality complaint threatens future of UK's last Catholic adoption agency

As a supporter of same-sex marriage, I just want at least some people to know that most of us aren’t as militant as it may seem - the militant ones just get all the publicity. I, as well as most people I know who support same-sex marriage, think that religious organizations should be under no obligation whatsoever to perform any service that goes against their beliefs. I hate that we usually only hear from the most militant gay rights activists, because I think our differences of opinion and value can coexist much more easily than it is often made to seem.

As a Canadian, I appreciate the sentiment; however, I feel this is roughly equivalent the situation with radical Islam. While its true that the vocal majority may not represent the silent minority, remaining silent gives the appearance of acquiescence. I think most of us want nothing more than to live with one another in harmony. Speaking up against situations like this might do a lot of good.

Well I agree which is why I posted! I don’t believe in just keeping silent.
