It has to be just a coincidence, that the DeMolay logo contains a circle of stars that strongly resembles the European Union flag.

And here in Europe, there are Protestants who dislike that flag because they see a Marian conspiracy in it (it’s twelve stars on blue)

Well, that is just about the only remnant of European Catholic patrimony that still exists in the public arena. I’m just thankful that the good vexillologist who designed the flag, was able to “slip it in”.

It’s a beautiful flag. We used to fly one on our patio. My son is an EU citizen and this flag hangs in his room. I have taught him the origin and Marian meaning of the flag.
