However, this miracle was also found (far more recently than 1954), as you may have read, in that famous wafer in Dallas, wherein the suspended decay was finally found to be due to the fungus, sungel mycelia and “certain bacterial colonies”. Bishop Grahmann concluded that, “…the phenomenom was of the natural order and contained nothing of a supernatural nature.”

These are delightful accounts, but contain nothing - weeping statues, Heron of Alexandria, Padre (now Saint) Pio, etc., aside - that could not be (although I hesitate to use the word) faked. Also, they do nothing to address the question of DNA being present in the transubstantiation process. If the Church truely believed in this miracle, surely it would not rely on - in the main - ancient miracles, but be “first in line” to test it under the most rigorous of current scientific methods.

You’re trying to force the very real presence of God into a set of rules which don’t fit. Science has its own rules, whilst God works to His.

Would you try and force a rugby game into fitting the rules of soccer? Same principle here.
