Some of you may find this article interesting and the comments interesting. I replied as “Dachsie” > My reply could have been better but it is early and I have not had my coffee yet.

By Frosty Wooldridge

"Notre Dame University found itself at the epicenter of controversy concerning President Obama’s speech at their 2009 graduation commencement. Concerned anti-abortion demonstrators protested that a “pro-abortion” president should not speak at the Catholic university that condemns the procedure.

His logic is faulty - the societies that reject birth control also reject abortion. People who reject birth control on moral grounds aren’t the same people who then get abortions.

So true. Frosty’s logical fallacy of choice is the “straw man” fallacy. Also he has his own definition of “birth control” which “in the world” is synonymous with some form of murdering the unborn.

I think the most important concept to grasp is that abortion policy is just one part of the one world totalitarian “prison planet.” Societies and people can no longer “reject” anything. There lives are in total control.

In order to have a Luciferic one world death and slavery system, one must find a way to control the masses. There are just too many of us useless eaters. Transformational Marxism is how the morals and minds became controlled in the West. That way you corral and control people without apparent physical force and end up with people who could not make a God honoring moral choice if they wanted to.

In a similar manner, because someone supports pre-conception birth control does NOT mean that they necessarily support abortion or its perceived rights.

Also, I always irks me that Catholics are up in arms concerning abortion (rightfully so), but appear blissfully unaware that the babies that are aborted were did not magically appear in the girls belly. There is very little discussion of the moral depravity of the culure that aids the creation of the abortion industry. How many Catholic parents monitor what their 12 year-old daughter watches on tv/internet, listens to on her iPod or what she wears? Likewise, how many Catholic parents will forbid there 13 year-old son from watching MTV or listening to rap music, which in many cases is pornographic. My point is that Catholics need to take moral responsibility for their own families first. That starts with fathers be present and leading their families, morally. It is time for Catholics to stop trying so hard to be culturally relevant and live morally upright lives, no matter how old-fashioned it is percieved.

And how deep the depravity goes. I think the reason so many support a pro-choice agenda is because pro-life opens up the door to lifestyle-changing responsibility - in contraception, morality, ordered relationships between the sexes. You find over time that you gotta reassess everything - what you watch on TV, what your marriage is based on, what you talk about with the guys in the workplace, everything. It is hard to consider giving up what you think is fun and cool.

I don’t know where you live, but the Catholic families in my area DO take moral responsibility for their children…🤷
