I have read that the Eucharist is outside of time much like god. It is continually going on and you are brought out of time to take part in the pascal (whatever that is) mystery. Or atleast some part of you is taken out of time. And of course transubstantiation is believe by catholics. I got this from reading an excerpt from Vinny Flynn on the 7 secrects of the eucharist. Has anyone else heard of this too. Is this a theological fact?

What you’ve described is generally accurate based on my understanding. I’m not sure how much of the “outside of time” elements have been addressed by the Magisterium (teaching body of the church), but is sound church teaching that the mass is the “unbloody re-presentation” of Christ’s sacrifice at Calvary.

Yes, each and every thing in the book is true. You will note the hearty endorsement on both covers by George Cardinal Pell of Australia, who calls it “A must read.” And, the forward is by none other than Fr. Mitch Pacwa, SJ.

The Eucharist is not “like” God, the Eucharist IS God - God in Christ. That is the only reason that we adore it. And, it is not an “it”, it is a “He” as in Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Jesus is the eternal Pasch. the passover lamb. In effect, time stop at each mass, and the entire host of heaven join us as we enter into the eternal sacrifice. The mass does not last one hour - it never stops, since our Lord offers Himself to the Father on our behalf continuously.

Don’t just read excerpts - get the entire book! 7 Secrets of the Eucharist by Vinny Flynn.
