A few summers ago I lost a beautiful diamond ring. I’ve never found it. But maybe some day - who knows?

Last week, I was running to answer the phone, and my son was coming towards me. We met in a doorway and we both turned sideways. My cross pendant caught on his shirt and broke from the thingy that holds it to the chain. Even though I knew exactly where we had met, I could not find the cross anywhere. I called on St. Anthony again. I looked and looked - crawling around on the floor with a flashlight - looking under the baseboards, etc. The next day, one of my children said that St. Anthony just must not like me. “What have I done to you?” I asked St. Anthony. No sooner were the words out of my mouth, when I moved a chair and there was the cross - a good 10 or 12 feet from where we had met in the doorway.

St. Anthony rocks!

PS. I love the Litany of the Lost. I’ve been feeling a little down because there seems to be a lot of loss in my life at the current time.

Oh its very common in my family that if we lose something it is found with his help.
😃
Though my family never prays to saint jude because for some reason the family seems to think he takes something from you.

Over the years I assuredly call him “my friend.” Have you?🙂
I have prayed to St. Anthony for his help in my searches for years. However, a few years ago I joined a parish- St. Anthony’s. So, now he is even more of a friend to me.

I have found every item I have asked help with. It is amazing and my stories are really amazing. My best one is the rosary I found recently. It took me 5 years I think and I recently found it in my basement. After meeting God, and my family in heaven I will be most interested to thank St. Anthony for all his help- DAILY WORK HERE!

Oh, all the time!

He has helped me find:

my rosary (many times)
keys
money that has been lost
my shoes
text books
certain quotes or passages in books I needed to find for papers or just wondering
lost earrings
lost medals

… just to name a few things

We have a statue of St. Anthony where the baby Jesus comes out of his arms. When ever Mom asks St. Anthony to find something she goes and takes the little baby Jesus out of his arms… she says he works faster. She gives little Jesus back once it is found! 😉

St. Anthony, pray for us!

I find Saint Anthoney to be a remarkable saint. He has helped me to find my glasses, luas ticket, and a lot more.He even gave me a new set of Rosary Beads. Here is the story of that:

I recently gave my old Rosary Beads to my cousin, who needed them more then me.But I very much missed having Rosary Beads, and I wanted to say a Novena to St. Anthony, so I asked him to help me get some.I looked out for them in shops, but I didnt see any.Just two days ago, however, he answered my prayer. My godmother took me to see a church which I had never been to before. Now, usually, for some reason, I feel uncomfortable in churches, as if the people there dont like me and I dont belong there. But in this church, I felt at home, and it felt as if God liked me to be there. So I went and played a song on the piano. Then I looked at a statue of St. Anthony, and on his statue was a set of beautiful black Rosary Beads.I knew they were a present from him.So I took them home and began his novena, and they are the best I’ve ever had, and I experience Lecto Divina almost every time I use them.I am very, very grateful to St. Anthony.

St. Anthony came through again! My husband’s suitcase was found and delivered after four days. Thanks be to God and St. Anthony.

St. Anthony is so on the spot when it comes to finding lost things, that my Jewish boss (who will forget her head if it wasn’t attached to her) is always asking me to pray to St. Anthony so she can find her keys/purse/important paper/cell phone/etc.

She isn’t ready to pray to him herself yet, but she is amazed at how he is such a help. Thanks St. Anthony - you da man!

My personal experience with St Anthony is that he is the most reliable and quickest of the Saints I know to obtain a successful result to find something lost.

He also does not seem to be the least interested in the moral worth of the person asking. He is just plain kind and glad to be asked.

I am so glad to find this thread!! I have a little story about my grandmother:
Most of you know that my family & I are Methodist. When my grandmother was a new wife & mother, her best friend was a very sweet Irish Catholic lady…(Most people, she said, thought that the 2 of them were:eek: “too religious”, so they ended up:) closer than ever).
Anyhow, whenever she lost something, she always called Teresa on the phone & asked her to pray. Teresa always said, “You don’t have to be:p embarrassed, Libby, you can ask St Anthony yourself!”).
Funny, my grandmother never seemed to have any trouble finding things that I noticed…You think maybe she finally 😉 listened???
Anyway, I think that when she went home to Heaven, my grandmother must have been really happy to meet this saint, who had been finding things for her for so long!! (And Teresa probably was 😃 chuckling a little when she introduced them!!)
