Yesterday I was watching the news and I saw an ex-fling ( as I will call it ) from when I was 21 and just graduated from university. He is now an economist with a large union speaking about the latest concessions being made. I am not surprised to see him in this role but it was just total hilariousness for me to see him on TV. I laughed my butt off! He looked more filled out but sounds exactly the same.
I couldn’t think of who to call. I dialed two of my best friends who knew him back then too but they weren’t near a TV. I called my DH at work too ( as if he really wanted to her about an ex ) and he thought it was funny too.
I see another ex BF’s dad on TV a lot too as he is a columnist with a National newspaper.
Have you guys ever ran into an ex ( even if it was just someone you briefly dated while discerning ) in a funny situation?
I knew this guy was totally wrong for me for the short time we dated. I remember telling him I was Catholic and how important my faith is to me. He practically snorted and said that was ridiculous, and I was more intelligent than to have some hooey faith! That was an absolute deal breaker. And the fact that he was a total dork anyways
