Catholic in the Confessional: “Bless me, Father, for I have sinned.”

Note: There is no need to mention anyone or everyone else’s sins.

The Immaculate Conception. If you are Catholic , you are required to believe it

Good point.

The Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary produced the human person, Mary, who would be the Mother of God. Both Mother and Son were without sin.

When you enter the Catholic Confessional, your business is to talk to the priest about your sin and not everyone else’s sin.

The immaculate conception is not about the birth of Jesus

Jesus: Repent

Jesus: Go and sin no more.

Tax Collector in Luke 18:13… God, be merciful to me, a sinner!

A eighty year old lady - divorced 56 years - came up to me in the pew today -
We chatted - before mass / rosary etc…
During the conversation - she said “ were all sinners “
Couldn’t believe it - this post came flooding back into my mind as I was looking at her.
Then during the rosary - “ …pray for us, sinners, now and at…”
Wow ! I never really thought about that line - in the prayer - before - imagine !

Had to share this 🙂

Well, I did say to her “ I like to think of myself as a repentant sinner “ - . . . . .
The way she looked at me and laughed, I was mortified !
I’m a sinner.

Seriously…I thought I was redeemed.

I didn’t know I got branded - and there’s no escaping the minute by minute fact.
That’s all.
