Do not kidding us and your people, do you think this can be convinced even for kidsI think Jesus is in fact STATING his divinity but being cautious about it for fear of being prosecuted for blasphemy.
Instead he leaves it to those around him to put two and two together … ‘you call me good, and no-one is good but God, therefore …’
I fail to see where you gey that it says Jesus is not God, He just says people are claiming to follow/love Him with their words not their hearts.Warning from Jesus in the bible for the lip service Christianity, the lip service following.
Matthew 15:
7You hypocrites! Isaiah was right when he prophesied about you:
8 " ‘These people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me.
9 They worship me in vain; their teachings are but rules taught by men.’"
Evidence that Jesus is not GOD and should not be worshipped.
Hit the road Jack and never come back no more,no more no more. What you say?

Gurrato, then why does he say ‘you shall not tempt the Lord your God’ to Satan - who is tempting Jesus himself, unless Jesus is God? Why does he say ‘the father and I are one’ and ‘he who sees me sees the father’? why does he claim power to forgive sins knowing full well, as does the crowd around him, that forgiveness is an attribute only of God? Why does he do things like use the name ‘I AM’ - God’s name - about himself - the crowd again were aware of what he was doing, they were ready to stone him for what they believed to be his blasphemy.Exactly he denied his divinity.
You have to use the whole verse to get the full depth of what he was talking about, that is how sentences work, they go together to make the whole picture. To disect one verse from the three others or whatever takes away what they entire thing was about. “They worship me in vain”, well from the rest of it you can obviously see He is talking about their words not heart are worshipping Him, thus the love is in vain. Rules taught by man, anyone with a good understanding of history can tell you that the Jewish leaders were enforcing rules and what not that were beyond Biblical/Torah laws set for them, thus they followed the rules of man. Please read and analyze:
9 They worship me in vain; their teachings are but rules taught by men
Jesus prophesied that people will worship him in vain instead worship God alone and their teachings are taught by men.
Referring to the men changing Gods word “the bible”
This is agreeing with what Islam say about the bible that it has been corrupted my men.
Peace.
I understand this quote to mean something like what LilyM said.Because Jesus himself say that.
Matthew 19:16 Jesus said “Why call me good, there is none good but One, that is GOD”?
Peace.

Hmmm…let’s see what exactly Jesus was talking about:Warning from Jesus in the bible for the lip service Christianity, the lip service following.

Yeah, I didn’t get it either. How is that evidence? It appears he’s attacking those who’s actions differ from their words: they claim to worship God in words, but not in deeds.
You do have proof that man has changed the Bible and corrupted it, don’t you? I believe you are set in your beliefs, and nothing we can say or prove is going to change that, so I won’t waste my time trying. PeacePlease read and analyze:

Except he wasn’t nor is he a prophet; he is the Son of God…he is God.You can understand that if you believe that Jesus was a prophet and through his teachings he will guide you to the God.
Because lurkers might be watching and learning. It think it’s fine because each time he posts his specious hot air, it makes his world-view look goofier and goofier. As they say, give 'em enough rope and they will hang themselves. Why do people still bother replying to all this troll’s posts?
That’s true, but when the arguments start to get ridiculous beyond a certain point I start to think “Is it possible anyone with a brain would be in danger of falling for that sort of thing?”Because lurkers might be watching and learning. It think it’s fine because each time he posts his specious hot air, it makes his world-view look goofier and goofier. As they say, give 'em enough rope and they will hang themselves.
You’re taking things out of context.Because Jesus himself say that.

wow. thats an amazing passage. God telling the angels to worship someone else.Hebrews 1
1In the past God spoke to our forefathers through the prophets at many times and in various ways, 2but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom he made the universe. 3The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word. After he had provided purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven. 4So he became as much superior to the angels as the name he has inherited is superior to theirs.
5For to which of the angels did God ever say,
“You are my Son;
today I have become your Father”? Or again,
“I will be his Father,
and he will be my Son”? 6And again, when God brings his firstborn into the world, he says,
"Let all God’s angels worship him." 7In speaking of the angels he says,
“He makes his angels winds,
his servants flames of fire.” 8But about the Son he says,
"Your throne, O God, will last for ever and ever,
and righteousness will be the scepter of your kingdom.
