Why has Darwin’s theory made it into all the catholic schools in Ireland confusing the minds of young people that we are related to apes and from experience puts doubts into the minds of young people about or origin!

Evolution and Christianity don’t have to be against each other according to the Catholic Church.

I don’t think ye realize the confusion it’s spreading in schools, they are telling people that we are related to monkeys.
which is a lie saying we have a common ancestor and this is the origin of humans is a lie and this lie is being spread.

Also that it’s the survival of the fittest and with most school teaching more about how to make money in business rather then supplying people with moral foundation from the Bible to create altruism in society

I have yet to meet someone who can name the 10 commandments off by heart !

The Church doesn’t teach this is false, and most of the Catholics on here seem to accept evolution as the best model we have of how life developed on Earth, and that we do indeed share a common ancestor with primates and most if not all other life on Earth.

This here is a problem with modern society. Very true.

Micro evolution is not against the Catholic Church. It is true. Macro-evolution and molecules to man is.

Properly understood, there’s nothing confusing about it, and it’s not “against religion and God.”

Not according to the Church. Let’s not go through this again.

Remind your kids that this is a theory, not proven fact. Invite them to challenge it. For example, according to this theory, all changes are driven by natural forces alone as a result of survival of the fittest. But then an ecosystem would be in equilibrium with a few hundred species, not millions. The stunning variety does not fit the model well.
Also why then does evolution result in something so incredibly complex, such as electricity, with certain species not only generating it but storing it while something so incredibly simple such as the wheel is 100% human?

Take a look at https://www.creationscience.com/ , which is run by a guy with a Ph.D. from MIT, along with other bona fides. He has a plethora of extremely detailed scientifically-based information regarding a lot of different disciplines which shows how the common explanations taught in school and elsewhere aren’t as hard-fact-based as we are led to believe. And to me, the best thing about it are his endnotes, many of which show quotes from famous atheists and evolutionists which show their doubts.

Evolution isn’t only theory, but it’s also a belief. Where is the observational evidence of evolution? Oh wait. Silly me. Evolution happens gradually…

Macro - Evolution is not empirical, that is observable, repeatable and predictable. The study of a one time historical event is historical science.

I’ll check it out. I see that Michael Behe is on there. I read his book, “Darwin’s Black Box,” years ago, and loved it.
