You are just spouting rubbish and so far you have not produced a single Church document to back up your claims.

Show all of us here where in the CCC the Church teaches that that the earth is around 6000 years old.
Show us any official Church document that says the earth is 6000 years old.

Catholics are FREE to believe in a young earth or an old earth. Your opinion is for a young earth so as I said above show us where the Church says the earth is young.

it is not I that needs convincing for in 2008 the Pope only confirmed what I was convinced about for how could it be otherwise.Neither the Pope nor anyone else needs to give creationists permission to accept creationism but evolution cannot and must not be accept by Catholics but sadly is in much the same way as contraception - twinc
