EWTN rebroadcasting Beatification of Pope John Paul 2

I watched it early this morning. The Holy Father’s homily, the bio of John Paul II, try watching with a dry eye. Today is a day of celebration!!!
 
Just learned that - Pope Benedict is currently the same age that Blessed John Paul II was when he died.

Pope Benedict is 84 this year.
 
I woke very early (must have been four or five) this morning and I tried so so hard to stay awake to watch, but just could not manage it. I do not recall even falling asleep. 😊 I am VERY thankful that EWTN intend to rebroadcast it a couple of different times. So thankful.

Yes, pnewton, today is a day of celebration! :dancing::extrahappy::clapping:
 
I watched most of it early this morning, but drifted off a bit and was most awake for the end, so I’m glad to re-watch the beginning now as I fall asleep.
 
I am so blessed as I was there. What a wonderful experience.
I thought of all of the CAF members and kept you in my prayers…
