What I’m saying is that our culture puts its sins on display like Sodom did. We just use tv.

Being Catholic/non-Catholic Christian and serving God isn’t wrong. That’s the difference.

I understand that, but you see thats not everyone’s opinion. Some people may see homosexuality as ok.

It’s all a matter of opinion when you get down to it.

What’s right and what’s wrong isn’t a matter of opinion.

If a man steals medicine to save his sick wife because he does not have the amount of money to pay for it, is that not a matter of opinion if it is right or wrong?

Biblically speaking, the man would be obligated to restore what he took ten fold.

How does that compare to an inversion to God’s natural purpose for sex?

It doesn’t exactly, Im just trying to prove that everything is a matter of opinion, no matter what celestrial body (namely God) says, if you choose to follow that then that’s good for you, but not everyone would believe so.

And what you said is basically quoting the Bible, do you not have your own opinion upon it?

Look I’m not trying to say God is wrong, I to believe in God, but I also think he intended for us to develop our own sense of mind, I’m practically saying do you believe everything you hear or are told?

I’m sorry, but not all things are relative. There is a right and there is a wrong. People try to excuse thier behavior by reducing everything to gray areas and splitting hairs.

If I choose not to obey the speed limit sign, should that be ok? Does my personal opinion factor into whether I get a ticket or not?

God has given us free will and mids, but he also gave us laws to live by. People try to reduce everything to a gray area so they can go do what they want. That’s wrong an unrealistic.

I don’t believe everything I’m told. I do believe God’s word.

When I was younger, I was steadfast black and white. When I was asked the same question I asked you I promptly said he was wrong for stealing. But I’ve learned based on my own experiences that this black and white area just doesn’t apply to everything.

Like you said, things done for your own personal advantage can be wrong, like running a red light or even something extreme such as murder.

But if someone does something to help those less fortunate from maybe those that would oppress? It’s almost like a Robin Hood theory.

I can easily see that you are sturdy about your beliefs as I am mine, I just hope you can understand where I am coming from and learn from our discussion here as I have.

From what I understand of your opinion, you want to find any justification you can find for just about every action. Don’t you think it’s odd that man knows that certain things are wrong, yet he trys to create scenerios in his mind where they would be ok? This is self justification.

Another word is moral relativism. The world is mostly black and white. Man applys gray to the world to obscure what is right and wrong. Your line of thinking says that if something feals good to you, do it. There is no right or wrong, black or white, but just gray. I can’t agree with that.

Ever hear the motto ‘do what thou wilt’? It’s not from the bible. It was written by the father of modern satanism - aliester crowly. A lot of his views on everything being a matter of opinion, rather than right or wrong are age old satanic lies. Don’t be fooled by it.

The example of the man stealing medicine is an example of doing the wrong thing for the right reasons. Like I said, he would be obligated to restore that medicine later. You have to take into account that the medicine provides the person selling it with thier living also.
