This is turning for the worse. A protester who disrupted an inter-faith meeting at the Manila Cathedral is now turning into a poster boy for what seems to be a growing anti-Catholic sentiment in an otherwise Catholic-majority nation. Supporters for the country’s Reproductive Health Bill which seeks to introduce government funding in providing artificial birth control to many of the nation’s poor (estimated 60% of the country’s over 93 million people are under the poverty line) have rallied behind this protester.
