I once read an aritcle in Catholic Digest about a woman whose alarm was broken, so she asked her Guardian Angel to wake her up in time for Mass the next morning.
After reading that, I set my own alarm and went to bed, jokingly asking my Guardian Angel to make sure I woke up in time for Mass, even though my alarm was not broken.
The next morning at the same time that my alarm was set for, our smoke alarm went off (THAT would wake anybody up!).
I am convinced that was my Guardian Angel responding to my playful request in a playful way.
(Yes, we checked, there was no other reason for the smoke alarm to go off!
