Have you ever felt your guardian angel or sent your guardian angel to help another–like Padre Pio always did? If so, did you notice an outcome like answered prayer or anything?

:angel1:

Many times have I asked my guardian angel to speak to my wife’s guardian angel when my wife is angry with me an not talking.

I have also asked my guardian angel to chase any demons out of our home when things seem bad at home.

I should do it more often especially when it comes to work.

Recently I was at adoration with my mother. We were planning to go see a play across town afterword. It was getting dark by then and I was having misgivings about going to the play after adoration because I couldn’t see well enough in the dark to drive to an unfamiliar part of town. I was having trouble with my eyes at that time, and I didn’t want to alert my worry-wart mother of that fact. So I sat there silently and contemplated how I was going to get out of going to this play that my mother wanted to see without letting her know how bad my eyes had gotten. One thing I’ve learned, is to never discuss health problems with my mom. I’ll never hear the end of it!

I suddenly had an inspiration: I’ll ask my guardian angel to tell my mom we shouldn’t go to the play. I sat silently and prayed to my angel. Just as I finished, I noticed my mother fishing around in her purse, trying to be as quiet as possible. She pulled out a pen. Then she found a piece of paper and wrote a quick note. I thought, “Hmmmm…Could it be?..” She passed the note to me. It said, “I don’t think we should go to the play tonight.”

After our adoration hour was over, we went outside and I asked her why she changed her mind about the play. I knew she was really looking forward to going to it. She told me that she thought it was too dark to see and we should just go home!

Another time, after reading about the life of Padre Pio, my mom asked her angel to get me out of bed because she needed some assistance. I awoke and had the feeling my mom needed me, so I got up and went to her room which was on the other side of the house. When I got there, she told me that she had just asked her angel to wake me up and send me to her. Makes sense. Angels are messengers, are they not? 🙂

Yes, when my husband was in the hospital and very scared. I was in the U.S. and he was in Ireland. He called to say he felt a presence in his room and calm. He asked me, "were you praying real hard for for me?
🙂

I probably disappoint my guardian angel to ever feel his presence. In all seriousness, I was confronted by an individual about a week ago who was upset with me, though I had done nothing wrong, and was actually relieved at how calm I was throughout the ordeal and I believe it was God helping me to bite my tongue.

The gentleman apologized the next day. A few years ago I may have taken a punch for cussed him out. Glad to be growing more and more the way Christ would want me to.

Thanks! Everyone’s experience is unique, so interesting, and such a blessing!

I’ll share my experience: I had just had a very upsetting incident happen to me and I was walking through the house weeping. I felt myself being held and comforted by someone. I felt that my head came up to their waist. It made me feel so much better, that I even said “thank you” out loud.

While asleep I saw my Guardian Angel standing at the foot of my bed. Brown hair long enough to be female yet short enough to be male. Brown eyes, wearing a brown cassock with a blue sash running from the right hip over the left shoulder. Staring at me as if I should understand why, I felt a slight fear. The Angel kicked my bed. I woke up, bed still shaking, turned on a light and felt compelled to say a rosary. The next day’s communion seemed to remain with me for many hours.

Peace

God has given me a tremendous devotion to and awareness of the guardian angels. ❤️

I’m embarrassed to say that I can’t think of just one moment or incident to share – my angel is just so loving and dedicated and fierce, and ever vigilant. I often ask his forgiveness when I sin because I know he’s doing his best to get me to heaven. 😊

There was a moment in my classroom when I was walking from the back of the room, through the group of children (about 25), up to the front of the room. I had one of those “cinematic” moments when everything suddenly felt like it was going in slow motion – and I became aware of all the guardian angels in my room at that moment, and Our Lord’s admonition to not lead any of His little ones astray.

I suddenly felt very, very small, in complete awe of their watchful gaze, and if I hadn’t considered the protection of my own guardian angel, I might have just frozen with fear. That moment was such a grace!

It puts our actions and thoughts into a powerful new perspective when we consider the guardian angels of everyone around us.

Good idea. I should do it when it comes to work too.

If anyone is interested, we sing a song at the Spanish Masses called Angeles de Dios. You can find it on YouTube.
The lyrics are beautiful…when I m at a real computer and not tho phone I’ll post a link to the song and the sweet lyrics.
We sing it for First Communion and also when a child or teen dies.

Here is a great talk about gaurdian angels by Fr.Chad Ripperger youtu.be/HROH926Ln-A

We should pray to our gaurdian angel daily. It’s amazing how much God loves us to create such a wonderful being to help us and to praise Him.

Do you remember if the color of the blue sash they were wearing was significant in anyway? I ask because I recently had an experience and he was wearing a blue outer robe, but the color of this blue was something I have never seen before, it was so brilliant, and so beautiful, its literally hard to put into words how ‘blue’ this was.

In my experience Guardian Angels have a most remarkable sense of humour, & an absolute joy about them, particularly when you have achieved some victory for God or chosen the narrow path. They sing & dance.

I feel it has something to do with Mary, Our Blessed Mother. I am not sure.

As a kid, I would leave my bedroom door open, confident that my Guardian Angel would stand guard at the entrance of my room, and to leave him space to do so.

I somehow avoided a car accident, swerving the steering wheel without even seeing the car in front of me.

After learning that there are angels guarding every holy water font in every church, I often ask my Guardian Angel to give that angel an “angel-wing high-five”, like a sort of greeting and acknowledgment of their presence and appreciate their work.

A coworker of mine was out sick for several days. I had to pick up his weekend shift during this time. While I was at work for him, I said an intense rosary for him and asked my Guardian Angel to make sure he was ok.

He told me this story that one of those nights, he dreamed that I was in his room, and he felt that I was very concerned for his well-being (almost annoyingly / jokingly). I’d like to think that this was Guardian Angel taking on my form to help comfort my work buddy.

I’ve heard that each Guardian Angel looks differently. I’ve heard that priests have more than one Guardian Angel, as do doctors.

If you’re interested in Guardian Angels, I STRONGLY recommend reading about St. Francis of Rome. She could see her Guardian Angel with her bodily eye and had different Guardian Angels throughout her life.

By the way, all of these stories are REALLY cool!

So interesting!

And thanks for the reading suggestion! Looking it up now 🙂
Do you have any book titles or site suggestions for this?
Thanks

What about people who live their life rejecting God, would they still have guardian angels with them, thru out their lives…if so what would their purpose be?

If they knowingly and willingly rejected God, wouldnt the guardian angels presence and any actions they take, impede the persons decision, using their free will to do so?
