It would be scary.

It is not specifically because of that. It is more because I have a fear of the unknown.
I understand. Your guardian angel is not going to pop in for a cup of coffee. There is usually something wrong, very wrong!

NO, first, the Church does not teach that certain people have more than one guardian angel. Private revelations are just that. Private, and we are not bound to believe them.

Second, we should all strive to be close to our Guardian angels, confiding in them praying to the,m asking for their protection, and thanking them for every single scrape we get out of.
They are not to be feared. They are beautiful and loving, and given to us as a precious gift of Our Lord. With your guardian angel, you are never alone. Never without hope, never without help.

Our angels are with us in all occasions, good and bad. They rejoice when we do well.
They are BENEVOLENT beings, not taskmasters. If you should be so blessed to actually encounter your angel in person, the first thing an angel always says is “Be Not Afraid”. That’s actually how you definitively know you are dealing with an angel.

There are other ranks/choirs of angels that are said to be warriors and more geared to other tasks. But the Guardian Angels are specifically created to care of humans.
Never fear them. Love them, and thank them. They will be with you in paradise.

God bless.

I think you confused my post with someone else’s. But anyway, what I mean is when someone has a sudden, real encounter with their angel, it is usually in some sort of a life-saving situation where the person is in danger. Other than Mary, angels don’t usually pop in with happy tidings of great joy. They are either warning you or saving you from sudden death.

No, you said something is wrong when your angel comes around.
I think I read it as you wrote it.
🤷

Someone else said that. But from my own experience, and many others I have read, a sudden accident is when most people become aware of their angel in a supernatural way, although sometimes children will claim to see an angel just standing guard.

In the case of Mother Angelica, an angel lifted her off the ground and hurled her across the street just as she was about to be hit by a car.
