People need freedom Sam.

I can tell my wife not to cheat on me, and she can know that God will condemn her if she does, but no one can physically stop her from doing so with a physical punishment or death. A man who even looks upon a woman with lust has committed adultury in his heart, so technically I should have been killed many times as a Muslim.

Freedom is extremely important and I know this can be tough for people in the middle east to comprehend, but it’s true.
https://forums.catholic-questions.org/images/icons/icon4.gif Freedom to sin!!!

If someone’s wife or husband is cheating then that partner deserves the “DIVORCE” punishment, didn’t’ JESUS said so in (Matthew 19:9):
"I tell you that anyone who divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, and marries another woman commits adultery.”

Then that action should be explained well to the children so they understand why such divorce has happened and to educate them not to repeat that same adultery sin when they are adults. If everyone implemented that law then that sin will be “rare” opposite to “common” nowadays, but no one is willing to implement the law 🤷, and I’m afraid they will end also as JESUS said for them in (Matthew 7:21-23):
“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?’ Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’

Compare the percentage of people practicing (nudity, losing virginity, adultery, drunkenness, same-sex propaganda) in all religions and you would find Muslims comes in the lowest percentage rank.
Yes, it makes perfect sense. The threat of being stoned to death would tend to stop one from doing many things.

Yes Sam, one may divorce his/her husband/wife for adultery, one may also forgive (if they even could like Jesus did) someone for adultery. However, I shouldn’t be able to threaten my wife with stoning for adultery, or 50 lashes or whatever just to keep her from sinning.

I agree Sam. We must educate our children what is right from what is wrong, but we should never tell them that they should physically stop others from having their freedom. I know there is homosexuality in the West and homosexuals should be let known how God feels about acting out those urges. But we can never stop them by threatening that we’ll do harm.

As I said, freedom is very important in the West.
