Someone kindly sent this to me and I share it in turn…the American president has ordered US flags to be flown at half-staff in memory of the attack on the capitol of the European Union and those who were victims. A gracious gesture.

I seriously doubt that individuals would be able to sabotage or damage a plant which would result in a release of nuclear matter such as we saw in Fukushima.

It makes for good panic-inducing news though.

I think this attitude would have been common on September 10 2001. I would have probably said something similar to this about actually knocking two buildings down…

It puts the terror in terrorism sure. But if they want a target like that and are studying how to do it they probably think it could be successful.

A dozen of so men with nothing more substantial than box-cutters …

When there is a will there is a way. There is no need to panic of course. Realistic thinking however would note what the intent of the Islamists is.

Doctors have been a part of the violent jihad in Britain. It is not as if jihadists don’t become majors in the armies of the west, or study in the same schools to become the physicists that run the nuclear power plants of France and Europe.
