If terrorist groups like ISIL do not control lands…that there will be less terror attacks. Throughout history there have been non Muslim ideologies similar to what ISIL has influenced today. The Third Reich influenced non Germans around the world to do what ISIL influences some Muslims around the world to do today, that is to attack innocents. If ISIL is destroyed by a non terrorist coalition then its possible that the situation in Iraq and Syria improves. ISIL is being fought against by Arabs, Turks, all sorts of people. Its true that some of the groups fighting ISIL like Al Nursa front are themselves terror groups. It’s also true that their are far more Arabs and Africans against ISIL then there are Arab or African members of ISIL. We also must keep in mind that ISIL membership includes white Americans and white Europeans, so ISIL has seduced not only Arab Muslims but also American and Euro Muslims. We also know of how 50 Muslim majority countries, all Muslim countries…are against ISIL…and some of these Muslim majority countries are at least bombing ISIL but should also send in ground troops IMO. Terrorist attacks are not a Muslim thing…in the USA there are mass school shootings, movie theater shootings, workplace shootings it seems like on a yearly basis. Not to mention these types of terror attacks that occurred today in Belgium occur often against innocent people in Iraq and Syria. Each day groups like ISIL and Al Nursa are attacking innocents not only in Syria and Iraq but if they can to places like Brussells. This Brusselss attack has the hallmarks of a ISIL or ISIL influenced group. Because of the attacks that ISIL claims credit for in Iraq, Syria and around the world…it is important to take the fight to ISIL and destroy ISIL. Pope Francis has said good will prevail over evil, Im with the Pope.

Russia has whole areas of Muslim controlled areas with strongmen that are dubious to even the Kremlin leadership.
 
Each time we pray for the tragic deaths and injuries, shattered innocent lives, it is clear that this evil has been growing and spreading like a cancer. The Islamic terrorists have been acquiring wealth to purchase the technology to carry out their attacks.

Overnight for those here in the USA the tragic news begins to make its way from Belgium.
The leader of the Paris slaughter, last November, was found in hiding after four months - hidden among his kind. Hordes of Syrian and other Mid Eastern populous have flooded Europe - no managed control but “open borders” like the mess we have at home.

Same old, same old and we need some beef in the White House! Apple needs to cough up the technology of encrypting the phones. Cell phones by the dozens were found in the apartment of Saleh Abdeslam - these are the “burner” type phones - use for one phone call and pitch. The conclave where this terror is nutured and concealed needs to be isolated and thoroughly scoured. There are known places in the US that are the same, just lying in wait to carry out their sole purpose in life.

The most important task for the free world is to strike these terrorists off the list. Americans that love God and country don’t let their friends mistakenly vote for
Clinton/Sanders.

Pray harder! Begin to end abortion! The nation that kills its children will cease to exist.

Yes they do and I’m sure many of us agree with those grievances, but there has to be a better way to deal with them than with what Trump offers. He may very well do more harm than good with his attitude. God Bless. Memaw

If this was a bomb, I hope they punish those radical Catholics that did it, oh wait, radical Catholics tend to become Charismatic Catholic. They just go to Mass and sway a lot. Maybe, just maybe this was done by those who follow the religion of peace.

Pretty much. Two different cultures occupying the same patch of dirt. One goes forward in time the other… well we know how it turned out.
 
They say that since there is a radicalized segment of the population, any time you start to get a percentage of the general population of 10%; there is a chance for problems. I have heard this theory put forward.

I think it can even be a bit less than 10% as some of those countries, maybe Sweden is only at around 7% or less.

It was at the ZeppelinFeld in Nuremberg. No swastika on the Reichstag.
 
These things are happening too often, the Paris attack last Nov., Charlie Hebdo last Jan. 2015, this in Belgium, let alone smaller attacks and attacks in Turkey that happen.

Now, they are thinking that besides a suicide bomber, there may have been a bomb put in a suitcase in the baggage area;

And then, we’ve had plenty of these attacks, not as severe but lone wolf types of attacks in the USA and even some in Canada, arrests against persons planning terror attacks or recruiting for ISIS as well as in the Pizzeria story.

I’ve heard they, the terrorists want to hit England or hit the US; in England or the UK, they seem to foil these plots with their intelligentsia. They must have inside informants.

I also heard of the possibility of communal violence occurring in Belgium and perhaps elsewhere; meaning a community going after the other.

I do have sympathy for Muslims who disavow these acts. But frankly this is their problem to fix, not mine.

As for the constitution we absolutely have the right to bar anyone for any reason from entering this country or becoming a citizen. It may be tricker to kick people of a certain religion out but I’m sure the great minds on the Supreme Court can find a justification lurking in the penumbra.

Men who are not already US citizens have no rights that derive specifically from the constitution. They have no standing in court to sue for not being allowed into the US due to religious reasons. The current president goes so far as to say he is free to order the death of anyone anywhere he so chooses and says that is partially justified because the constitution does not apply to foreigners.

This country was not primarily founded on religious freedom. And in as much as it was it meant religious freedom within Christianity. It makes perfect sense to be able to deny entry to some religions. For instance if a person wanted to enter the US and his religion was to molest and sacrifice children I’d say we ought to keep him out. If his religion was to just fantasize about that I’d still not let him in.

Like all government wars on common nouns it never ends, but that isn’t the point, from the governments side. However I think not involving ourselves in the Middle East while protecting Christendom from invasion or ‘migration’ is a wise thing to do.
 
Absolutely terrible and despicable. Obviously Daesh is claiming responsibility, but I hope they investigate who actually carried out these attacks. If they were locals or if they were refugees or some other parties before anyone jumps to conclusions and reactionary vitriol against legitimate refugees as is bound to happen.
